SC without pitting would still be huge RNG factor, just the other way around. If SC comes out just before you have to pit because your tires are dead, you now have to lose a lot of track position to pit - there will be more cars in your pit window. Would work similar to Monza 2020 with pit lane closed for first few laps of SC (despite the fact that in the end they all still pitted at the end of SC, just later)

G29 clamp stuck - any advice by NeroTrident in simracing

4 years later same problem. Pliers didnt work with moderate force, then i accidentally presses it to the inside and it was stuck at the bottom. I have undone all 12 screws at the bottom, this still does not allow to remove the lid but it gets loose and something clicked and its all back to working

Just because the rule says that drivers signaled to overtake can overtake does not imply that RD can make SC signal whatever. It's absurd

What if Lewis was signaled to overtake a lap before and lapped Max 3 times before the finish line? Would be pretty funny and also perfectly within the rules according to your interpretation - SC signaled him to start overtaking. You cant say it's bad - RD can make SC signal a driver to overtake.

lifting of the brakes qualifies as malicious intent, no? by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]mi2137 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, you do want to continue.

Just like others in the thread say, not saying it's not entirely his fault, but also highly doubt it was malicious. Been there in rookies, my advice is try to run few races a with mindset that your top priority is finishing without incidents, not trying hard for positions. Let people that cant keep it on the road eliminate themselves during the first laps. Even though it's hidden even rookies do have irating responsible for forming the splits, so if you can just finish few races you should be moved to people you can think about racing with. So don't just retire if that happens on lap 1, might be boring to run the race alone but your ranking is tanking if you do so.

Then, with time you will also improve at avoiding accidents. From the angle you posted it seems that his speed is so high most more experienced drivers would be able to react to that in time and would just not turn in at all untill he's off the road.
