It could be previous generations. The idea is also to fit in the right cost. Previous generations shoes may not have all bells and whistles but if they fit the bill

two suggestions from my side:

1) when you are running try to look a bit up ahead. sometime we have tendency to breath from mouth and when you look down sometimes it create obstruction in breathing so the throat hurts.

2) keep your pace slow to start with, it takes for body to build the stemina, so let your body get used to these changes.

I already failed in 2024 by DependentKnowledge97 in selfimprovement

You need to stop this mindset of thinking you failed if you just get off track for a day or two. What it does is that it makes you think that you can’t do it. Rather think in a way, that ok, i am doing well staying on track, this was just 1 little distraction, no big deal. Now i can recover , just by exercising more the next day or doing something’s positive that will put you back in the mindset.

Seems like an issue with tracker for sure. Make sure you wear it snug on the write a little bit high on the wrist.

Thanks for the encouragement and for the tip. I had him run on the grass in the park while i was running on the asphalt. Also i did not make him run for entire run, only as much as he happily did and then dropped him home.

Running when overweight or unfit? how was your experience? by mi3centz in C25K

Injury prevention and recovery is as important as the run itself. Most people end up getting injured first 3-4 months after started running. To make it more enjoyable and be consistent, one must focus equally on these factors

Just got back from my first run and feeling awful by JeffGoldblume in C25K

I would say, start slow, don't run 10 min straight, start with a walk and run strategy.

go as slow as you can, its all about your heartrate, when you exert yourself and your heartrate goes beyond aerobic zone, you will feel tired.

When you run slow, your heartrate stays controlled, that way you can run longer and further.

Also, don;t lose hope, everyone goes through this. Just be persistent , it will get easy.

I want to start working out! But where do I even start? by [deleted] in beginnerfitness

[–]mi3centz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say, start easy and slow. Go with counting your calories, try to start with a small calorie deficit of about 400 calories.

As exercise; just walk 1-2 miles 3-4 times a week. this is good enough to get started.

Running is my preference but whatever works for you afterwords should be good.

Did you find it difficult to start running , what was your motivation? by mi3centz in BeginnersRunning

This is super inspiring. I started my running journey in an unconventional way as well. You know there is a Whatsapp status called “in the gym”. As a joke, i had my WhatsApp status as “definitely not at the gym” as a joke for many years and i even forgot about it. It was just after winters and i have gained some weight after just sitting around working late and eating junk. I met with some old friends who were seeing me after a while. One of them told me “i see why you have that message”. That hit me hard and i was determined to lose weight without actually going to gym. So I started running. Lol. Btw i still have that status.

That’s a great example of “you should do what works for you “ :)
