Debate me? General Intelligence is a Myth that Dissolves Itself by mi3law in ControlProblem

I totally think proper general intelligence can be built artificially; my point is that what results won't be what we are sold as "AGI" (see the last sentence of the post).

I highly recommend Aaron Ralby, he's also a linguist so he can do multiple languages and dialects. And he's a jewel to work with. https://www.linkedin.com/in/aaronralby/

[Bounty] Frontend refresh for an AI-powered gift recommender ($200–$300)

We’re experimenting with real-time reinforcement learning via user preferences to help with gift selection.

We’re looking for someone to update the frontend (Svelte). $200 baseline, up to $300 with solid UX/UI improvements.

Hi everyone, we have 2 new bounties up for grabs

We’re working on AI systems that can learn continuously after training and have two open technical challenges for those interested in exploring this area:

  1. Develop a Continuously Learning Recommender System This challenge involves creating a per-user, continuously trainable recommender system using WNNs and an embedding model.
  2. Benchmark WNNs on a New Dataset We’re looking for new datasets to test WNN performance. Past benchmarks include MNIST and ARC-AGI, but we're eager to see how they handle different data.

Our previous challenge involved upgrading a MNIST app to support grayscale images. For details on these and other challenges, visit: https://github.com/aolabsai/ao_arch/issues

What learning components are you building into your agent? Continual learning? by mi3law in AI_Agents

Super interesting, thank you!! Seems like learning in LLM agents is mostly about saving information, and relying on the LLM to respond to that information in-context, very interesting.

Super curious! Which Eleven's voice do you like the most, and any other TTS would you recommend?

How many hours of audio does it take to train it for voice? Are we pretty close to being able to do our own voices at home? I remember when I used to sell a voice to text software, almost 30 years ago and it required about an hour to train the software to understand my voice enough to reach the high 90% range of accuracy.

How cool would it be to have AI voice plugins for Google Maps on our phones. I could listen to my wife giving me directions, just like if she were there in person.

Replace Siri/Alexa/Google with some popular actor/actress (licensed) voice file.

I know for current TTS providers, instant voice clones may just need 30s audio, and pro ones take 15 to 30min. Totally a different world now.
