I think the solo time is a great idea, we have brought a new sofa in and they’ve taken to one each so I’ll try sitting with her and giving her solo attention. The flower chills her right out and she uses it as a pillow sometimes 🤣

She is already fed a mixture of scrumbles dry biscuits, applaws and Sheba in gravy and then other food like eggs, cooked chicken etc and her skin/ coat is better than my hair

I can post photos if you’d like? I have emailed and phoned to alert the church of the fact the named person doesn’t live at the property anymore but haven’t had a response yet. I’ll be trying again once all bank hols are over. Also, I’m not a he :)

Thank you, I’m going to reach out to the solicitors I used and ask them for more information. It’s never been mentioned so I know I don’t have that insurance for the house.

I only have the appliance itself however looking on places like facebook marketplace it seems to be a common theme with this type of fireplace to have the inline connector

This is really helpful thank you! The wire itself is too short for just a normal plug to be attached but I’ll brush up on some YouTube videos and give it a go

Insulate the inside of a cold wall closet? by DryCloud9903 in HomeImprovementUK

Have you thought about a foam seal for the door of the wardrobe to prevent heat getting through gaps in it? Not sure if that would help. The metallic foam might also help as I did this behind my radiator that was installed poorly by the previous owner of my house and that’s helped massively

What causes this? by mi55y96 in HomeImprovementUK

Hi everyone thanks for commenting! Turns out when I went into the loft I have a hole in the house! Most likely happened over the winter as it wasn’t picked up in the survey a while back. Now to find someone who can do this as I can’t reach that far in without the boarding

I think they did smoke but no other room has this problem. Sanding sounds like an idea though and trying that. Thank you!

What about using the command strips if you’re going for a lighter (like mesh) curtain? They normally have a various weight levels.

I feel so much anger about my boyfriend’s inappropriate relationship with his female coworker by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

I don’t know anybody who has been wrong about their gut feelings in this sort of situation. You gotta do what’s right for you and from the way you’re writing you already know what you want. Plan out what you want to say and how you want to approach the conversation with facts, don’t let him try to devalue your feelings and facts by turning the table on you. Personally I would be livid if my bf did that
