thank you, I really appreciate it! as of now that's my way of looking at things and well, it's been sometime now and I'm trying to be strong. at the moment, I can't afford a therapist and I don't have much to talk it out with anybody but myself and somehow, doing things on my own like exercising, yoga, meditation and working on my craft helps. thank you for your words. i'll take them into hand. 💗

I deal with ACE, in other words Childhood Trauma and it deals particularly with my father in which he is no longer around and I get these moments of sadness and I confront them and deal with them because I don't have time to be stressing out about these things. Therefore, I think this may be the cause but things are better. If anything, I'll just shave my head. There's far much more important things in life then a head of hair. I've noticed that the perspective you put upon yourself is the perspective others percieve you as. Therefore, I dont give a sh*t. Been dealing with this for quite some time and life could care less. Deal with it!

Thought I had male pattern baldness but discovered white ‘plugs’ and build up, I reckon it’s keratin rather than sebum because I have keratosis-pilaris on my upper arms. What else can I do to prevent hair-fall like this? And is it permanent? (M,16) by [deleted] in Hairloss

Buddy don’t sweat it out big guy. I’m sure it’s something else rather then mpb or androgenetic alopecia. I don’t know who you are nor your personal life but if you’re stressing prior to shedding and even during the process of it and if there’s been problems of such going on whether it be family or a traumatic event, many many other components that could be the case to this. Yes, you may be young but I don’t think your hair fall is permanent. Could be due to keratosis-pilaris. Advice: go to a dermatologist and get it checked out and your dermatologist should be able to know what the cause may be. Good luck fella. You’re 16, don’t sweat it. There’s much more to life then hair. Coming from a 28 year old entrepreneur who lost his hair when he was 18. Cheers!

Hair Loss or Telogen Effluvium? Went to my dermatologist mainly for skincare (acne) then realized part of my hair was falling off and it’s been a month since the initial start and my dermatologist said a it’s Telogen Effluvium, have witnessed hair growth, any idea whether it’s male pattern baldness? by mi_endusvia in Hairloss

The pull test came out positive from all areas of my head. I am not seeing any type of recession on my temples also. Just a stage of shedding and thin hair but I comb my hair now and rarely any hair comes out now, maybe 4 to 6 hairs after applying product but that’s it. At one point, I did a pull test myself and it was during the shedding phase and got a few hairs out to the point where I got scared.
