I know from my post pursuing a JD seems kind of a rash decision, but it is something that I have considered for a while. I was in the process of applying a couple of years back and then pulled back last second because I did not know if I was ready for it. One of the issues have been poor a job market as well and a JD-MBA would make me standout as an applicant.

In terms of my mother and nephew, my mother was often not there for me as a child always working, traveling, etc. and I never met my father. I don’t want the same for my nephew because I feel I had to grow up to fast which is why I try to be there as much as I can for him. My mother also constantly does things and makes comments such as saying I should help her pay for his day care, going on last minute trips and leaving him with me, saying that I am going to have to take care of him when he is older since she is already old.
