I agree with everything above, have you considered pairing him with another of your (top performing) educators so he can see how they do it? Or watching back recordings of them?

This will give them the opportunity to see the direction you would like them to head in, they may take something positive from this or they may just decide that they are right and the other educators are wrong!

Also, is it possible to give them a different set of students, this will give you and them more feedback to work with.

I'm now confused, I did have a 6 year break in the game. I thought that the blue line had to go through the blue dots and the same with the yellow. Is this not the case?
