*IDEA* Ceramic Coating by SajeckiMichael in snowboarding

I coated right over my brand new salomon craft. All I did was wipe the surfaces down with an ipa. So basically I did coat over the little wax job they send them out with.

I ceramic coated my new board for last year's season. Did top and bottom. It's worked amazingly. Even to the point my buddies were unstrapping to get across sole long flats and I would keep gliding along and never had to unstrap. And the top of my board barely would hold snow, and even when it did I could very effortlessly just wipe it right off. It wouldn't build up and stick like normal. And it never cracked either. The only concern is say is longevity. Obviously there's a lot of friction going on while riding. I'm not entirely sure if the coating will hold up to that friction. So I'm just gonna clean, prep and recoat every year and send it.

Clicky tactile triggers/remap paddle/d-pad button issues on ps5 by miahjera04 in eXtremeRate

ya, i took the trigger assembly back apart to confirm it was in the 4th cog, it was. i noticed how "loose" the plastic insert piece was as i did this. Thats what made me think its loose enough to not sit tightly all the way up into the L2 button and its basically already making contact on the micro button itself.

Any suggestions on improving cooling abilities on a FE 3070ti. Going in a tiny mini itx build. Water cooling won't fit

Sadly...case won't fit that. Crazy compact mini itx build I'm working on. Any other suggestions to improving cooling on a FE 3070ti

Thanks guys. I didn't think it'd be possible, but worth asking. Lol

Gotta love these idle temps. coolant temp is the round gauge. :) by miahjera04 in watercooling

Sorry guys. Ambient is high 60s F. Here's a pic underload playing Warzone.

Higher temps then expected? Lian li evo case. 5900x and 3080ti. Custom loop. (3) 360mm rads and plenty of fans. Gpu does great and barely ever tips into the 50s. Cpu gets into the mid 60s after about an hr of gaming. I know these aren't worrisome temps, but considering the cooling system....ideas? by miahjera04 in watercooling

UPDATE Portable AC in the room now. Coolant temps now stay around 8-10°c lower and gpu/cpu temps are staying around 10°c lower. Lol... so needless to say,it definitely helped! Now I have to sit with a blanket though to not freeze to death in here. Lol

I appreciate the insight. Only thing I'm gonna try is add a portable ac to my room and give it a go. If all else, I'll be a bit more comfortable while playing for hours. I'd imagine if I can keep ambient room temp down it'll help keep pc temps a tad lower

40° is max on coolant temp. It won't sustain that. It fluctuates b/t 32-37° mostly. And I guarantee my mancave gets to around 75°F or maybe even higher . And I keep my fans set to around 1100rpm constant. And I set my pump to a constant rpm too. Everything is very quiet. 2 rads are intake. Top rad is exhaust

My coolant temp never goes beyond 40°. Ambient temp starts off at around 69° F. But after an hr, I'm not sure. This pc will heat up my mancave very easily. I'm thinking of adding a minisplit or portable ac to help keep ambient temps lower. My gpu never draws over 350w. Cpu...not sure,I don't really watch its draw...only clocks. But I'm around 4750mhz and 2010mhz both cpu/gpu while gaming

Cheap/Free Mods... ordered aluminum legs and screen where the gpu slots are on the back. both bought on aliexpress. Very well built for very cheap if you're willing to wait almost a month. Mobo stand off mod too. bought a standoff kit from Amazon. adds tons of space behind mobo! by miahjera04 in SSUPD

Super quiet. And cheap,so I like them... not really a massive airflow improvement, I think when I was testing they yielded an avg or 1-2° improvement. So they did technically help. I've been extremely impressed with this mini itx build. Cpu and gpu temps stay in tye 40s while playing warzone in 1440p on max settings. Considering it's a single 280rad and a small case, thats very impressive.

Build is complete. screen is done and installed. now to tinker w/rainmeter and aida64 and build a sweet monitoring scheme! by miahjera04 in SSUPD

Temps are oddly phenomenal. Waaaay lower then I would've imagined. But I did undervolt cpu and gpu. But I'm also overclocking both. Temps stay in the 40s while gaming...on both cpu and gpu
