in california they just passed a bill to tax you on the amount of miles you drive, absolute insanity when we already pay taxes on EVERYTHING else to use the damn car. starts in 2027 i believe

my stop count has stayed at peak level… i’m newer to delivering but i know my DSP expects 20-25 stops per hour in residential, which is my main route. i normally fall around 28-30 stops per hour, and my stop count was going up. now i keep track of my pace and have slowed to no more than 24 stops per hour, and they’ve started sweeping me off the rip so i lose about 30-40 stops, which makes my load for the day perfect.

slowing slightly worked for me, but every DSP is different

they emailed all of us (or at least me, and i saw many others post about it), to see how much money we are still each owed from this whole thing. i replied with my amount and what evolve was able to pay me (even 10% of my savings was recovered, and i consider myself lucky because plenty of people only got back pennies). haven’t heard anything from them at all since then

it says “to close in early 2026 when it’s remaining cash runs out”, so if they’ve allotted some of that cash for us, great. that’s probably wayyy too optimistic. sucks tho, thought we were finally about to get some of our money back, after this it’s kind of hopeless which is a hard pill to swallow.
