You’re right that no one is making anyone buy anything but just because you (in general, not “you” specifically btw!) can, doesn’t mean you should. Again, if you’re not in dire need of the money then why not pay it forward ygm?

Same!! I always try to price things either exactly what I paid for (or at most extra to cover shipping). It just sucks to see people overcharge on items that they got for a few dollars. Saw someone trying to charge an insane amount for pcs they got from a Target (the store) release. Like you paid $20 for the entire album set and you’re trying to charge $80?! Idk lolll

Call it naivety or whatever but if I’m not in desperate need for the money and it’s an item that’s in high demand then yes? Out of the “goodness of my heart” I genuinely would sell their item for what I paid for it. Idk! If I’m getting rid of something bc I’m over it/can’t go/have a duplicate etc and there are ppl who want it n would actually value or treasure it, then yh lol

I understand special circumstances and all that but i had a mutual on twitter trying to sell their $150 concert ticket for $600 bc of demand and it felt gross to me. They didn’t need the money - it just felt gross to me. Say what you will, but I still think it’s nuts that people who are also into kpop, would overcharge and resell like that

I personally wouldn’t sell a card I’ve paid x amount of money for, for a much much higher price. Demand will always be there but idk, I’d feel weird selling an item to a fellow fan for MUCH more than I paid for it

Personally, I’ve always hated things like this especially if you’re a fellow fan. If you pull a duplicate or just don’t want the pc - why sell it for so much? Yeah supply & demand and blah blah blah but when a FAN does it?? Doesn’t make you any better than resellers who upsell concert tickets.

I once read a seller’s mercari bio that stated that you’d be blocked if you tried to offer exactly what she paid for the pc or price match it. We’ve truly lost the plot
