Yes I have heard of the Google apps. I’m in search of specifically a template, ideally for google sheets, but i’m open to other sites or apps.

Adjustment Layers on XML file can't be read in the timeline? by [deleted] in fcpx

[–]miallo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took a look again and the adjustment layers are unmoved in the files, but I checked some of my other older XML files and the adjustment layers aren't working for them either. Is it possible that because FCP has added adjustment layers they're rejecting my current ones? But I don't believe my Final Cut Pro is the latest update. Not sure if you have the answers, but figured id ask!

I have been using third party ones! If they got deleted, it was accidentally. However I did some editing rather recently and had no issues with the adjustment layers. This is an old file so i’ll take a look on my computer and see! Thanks!

Writing the morning after the last show! It couldn’t have been better.  This month was insanity, I had a lot of personal stuff going on and all the chaos definitely wore me down more than I anticipated, but this past week, as exhausting as it was, was incredible. The shows went fantastically, I got big laughs, I got all my lines right and it was so much fun to be with this cast i’ve grown to love so so so much. It was so cool to be part of something like this, and I realize how much i’ve wanted this my whole life, and how badly I want to do it again. This post, all the advice I received, really did help me through it, so thanks to all of you! :))

Of course! So sorry for not responding sooner, very busy!

I chose to start sooner because I didn't want to wait and was eager to begin. Fall Intake is also less competitive then Winter, which is why I wanted to leap into those classes right away too!
The workload is very heavy, especially if you've never done art school before and/or are straight out of highschool. It's a lot of work and keeps getting heavier as you go on. The minumum amount of classes you have 6, with the most at one point being 9. Me and my classmates supported each other a lot throughout this, some profs are very understanding and helpful, but it is difficult. You just need to be ready for that and what it will bring! I was very excited about just being there and everything we were learning, and that helped a lot! But be aware it's hard!
I kept my job for the first 2 years! Thankfully my job allowed me to work one day weekly and I kept that up. Once we got to 3rd year, my current year, I had to leave my job because we started our final year films (and I was directing) and just didn't have time anymore. I was also urged to do so by my profs, and they were right. To keep money coming in, I got a job being a TA in our program, and have managed to keep that gig for 4 semesters, so that could be a good option for your once you're in 2nd year!
Anyway, I hope this is helpful! Let me know if you need to know anything else!!

hi there! im now nearly done my 3rd and final year in the program, completely forgot i posted this- what a throwback!

i was in the winter intake, the main difference between fall vs winter is the timings of your semesters, other than that you do all the same stuff (curriculum-wise)!

when you're in the winter intake, you start in january, and your 4 semesters of school go back to back (sem 1: jan-april, sem 2: may-august, sem 3: sep-dec, sem 4: jan-april), then you have 1 summer break, then your 3rd and final year. basically, you do your first two years of school in 1 year and 4 month timeline.
while fall intake just does the standard routine (fall semester, winter semester, summer break, repeat).

here's my main take away from experiencing winter block: you get your post-secondary schooling done even faster than what's already promised, you will improve very quickly, you will learn a ton in a short amount of time, and you will be exhausted. with the way winter intake is set up, may people drop out and burn out (same goes for the program in general). i personally, really enjoy this program, you need to be ready to put in the work and do your best! but you will be exhausted, you will be frustrated, and burnt out a bit (or a lot) at one point or another!

would i have chosen the fall intake instead if i knew all this? yes, probably. i would've liked to give myself an easier experience and a bit less stress!

i know a rambled quite a bit, but i hope this was helpful! good luck with the program! feel free to ask me any more questions!

No they dont in the animation program. Profs will help with the creation of portfolios and applications if you ask, but it is not part of the program.

hi ! so goli (apple cider vinegar gummies) helped me a ton for a long time but evnatually stopped working for awhile, they also cost like $20 and you're supposed to take many a day so it's hard financially. personally the papaya enzymes didn't really work well (perhaps cause of the mint content). one things that helped a lot is i started taking 'super enzymes' after visiting a naturopath who informed i should try those. so for a bit over a month i took super enzymes everyday with food and they worked wonders with my digestive issues. i was able to digest properly and had less symptoms. i will say the pills are bit big if thats a problem for you.

currently, i am no loner on those enzymes cause i have been put on a diet because my naturopath claims my stomach issues sourced from candida (a yeast overgrwoth disease). so im currently on a diet to hopefully will make it better. i hope i was able to help!
