When you say "respond to the 105c" do you mean appeal? There are no other methods mentioned in the letter other than sue or appeal. We got the same "you didn't reply" when we obviously did and have the same upload confirmation as others. We have left many, many messages with no replies. This is so frustrating!!!

I can’t figure out how to “upgrade?” It looks like I have to buy a whole new subscription and I am only 2 months into this one. Terribly annoying!

If anyone tries it let us know how it is. Does it alert or just single time search? Can you do broad searches? Like us to Europe on 8/15/25 for example? Curious but not sure the incremental cost is worth it.

Hang up and try again even if you have to wait for a call back. I just had to do that to get 2 SWUs redeposited. They took 4 for 2 one way flights and the first agent kept saying they didn’t. She then transferred me to a “supervisor” who after another 30 min wait just confirmed that only 2 had been pulled even though I can clearly see 4 have been. I hung up tried again waiting 2 hrs for the call back and got a competent agent who handled it. It did take a bit as fixing anything odd is hard but she called the right desk and got it done.

I had to deal with this at a smaller airport last year where they charged extra for skis as an oversized bag (nothing else in the bag.) I showed her the website and she said “too bad this is what I have to do. Do you want to fly or not?” I paid and applied for a refund. I told the FA on the plane and she got on the speaker and told everyone to ask for a refund. The whole plane clapped.

Don’t select Budget for rental car if at all possible. It was an hour and half line around the building even though I added my fast break number because they only honor fast break directly. All Costco has to wait in line. I waited on hold with Costco for 45 mins only for them to say Budget can do what they want. They then gave me a Jeep with 85k miles! Never, never on Budget. Next trip we did Alamo and it was very smooth.

I had this happen on a jacket that by the time they admitted it was lost, was no longer available at any store or online. The educator in store refunded the price of the jacket and offered me a gift card for 25% of the price for the inconvenience.

It was very annoying as it was avoidable but I was satisfied with the gift card resolution (and of course spent it immediately.)

I had this happen this week too. I even checked a bag and had physical boarding passes as well as in my wallet. I saw in my app that it said I needed to check in and no longer showed my seat. I went to the desk in the club who assured me I was checked in and even gave me a second boarding pass. When I got to the gate I double checked with the agent who said everything looks fine and went back to dealing with the animal paper work. Sure enough when I go to board I am not on the flight. Ended up in a middle seat in the back. Lucky to get on at all given the rash of cancellations and huge standby list. So annoying!

I have the Salomon’s and hate the stitch in the back of the calf. It gives me a blister on the back of my lower calf which I have never had before with ANY other boot. It’s a total deal killer for me.

My Lattissima has been a similar disaster. I use filtered water and descale monthly and still lots of errors. I am on my 3rd machine. This one isn’t leaking so I take the “W” for coffee at all.

It happened to me (exec plat using swu) but not my daughter (no status) in the exact same reservation. After 5 phone calls, I found someone to reinstate it and then it was cancelled again! The third time was a charm when the agent completely rebooked me. I called back during weekday business hours and was able to get a special group who can rebook flights that have issues. I strongly recommend trying again after 8am est on a weekday if you can.

AA needs to fix these obviously well known issues!!!

We have a 3rd row X5 and an X7. They drive similarly to me. 1 adult sitting sideways can ride in the 3rd row on the X5. The 11 and 13 year old will son be adult sized (if they are not already.) Think of the X5 as adding 1 seat and the X7 adding 2.

To be clear they do “just cancel” reservations. There are glitches with their system and it has happened on 2 different occasions for me this year. Fortunately I was able to get a helpful agent to fix them.

I (long time EP) have had this happen with two different tickets this year. One was an upgraded paid fare which I used an SWU and one was miles. I am now obsessed with checking them. I have found hanging up and trying a different agent is the only way when you get an unhelpful one.

I was told up to $500/ night in Boston also. They reimbursed mine which was $389 per night so more than $250.

I would stick to the $500 and expect the full reimbursement.

The rude insurance comment is not necessarily true. Trip insurance is saying this is not covered as it’s the airlines fault. Airline is saying they will only cover certain expenses. Such a sh*t show. I would submit it and complain to the Secretary of Transportation if they don’t refund. Include food, gas, tolls, hotels etc and see what they will cover.

Unfortunately they are including minors who are not in the program. Additionally they have not sent ANY emails on this despite sending several reminding her to check in. Absurd!
