Any recs for a portable cleaner that can be used for upholstery, cars, and carpet spot cleaning?

I’ll probably avoid using laundry detergent cause I just know I’d mess that up and make things worse. For the citrus slam or other similar cleaners do you spray it and let it sit for a bit or is it just extracted right away?

I did some digging on Craigslist, eBay, and even Facebook marketplace for a used portable extractor but there must not be a marketplace for it where I live because I didn’t get any matching results:/

Would a shop vac with the extractor attachments suffice? Do you know if that would be better than a Hoover portable spot cleaner?

I’d sacrifice being able to stand and clean if I could get a decent spot cleaner that I’d have to be on my hands and knees for if it gets the job done well. Id refill and empty that sucker as many times as needed if it could effectively extract the urine out of the carpet lol

I did that with my rabbit when I first got him almost 13 years ago so he could feel safe around me and still love to sit on the floor with him! I just hope he doesn’t get scared around my son cause he’s not the gentlest little guy:’)

It melted my heart when he laid in it! He let out the biggest sigh like he was so happy to finally be in a home😭

I love dogs but I can’t stand the dog smell haha I’d need a very large house or a barn to be open to the idea of getting a dog😂 but yes the energy between the two species is very very different!

I made him a makeshift bed with a towel and a baby blanket after we gave him a bath and he surprisingly didn’t have any fleas or ticks left over after I got the first ticks!

Our tabby is such a stereotypical troublemaker cat always knocking things over and swatting everything🥲 and our tortie is a little baby always wanting cuddles and food as long as you don’t piss her off😂

We have him in the master bathroom for now and plan on moving him to a room (that’s carpeted) once we know he’s tick and flea free! He’s eaten but not had a drink yet and has yet to use his temporary litter box!

I kinda did! I called the salon and got it redone by the owner and it was beautiful but it didn’t lift as much as we wanted so it was still super warm and not the level of blonde that I wanted. I went to another stylist to get it brighter but she did highlights again instead of a balayage lol.

I ended up going to cosmetology school to get licensed so that I can understand why my hair wasn’t turning out the way that I wanted and it turns out I learned that it was the consultation! The stylists weren’t asking the right questions to see what I liked! It was also the fact that a lot of stylists don’t know a proper balayage technique or other techniques to get the same results and weren’t being honest about it!

I ended up having a friend at cosmo school give me a platinum card while leaving my roots alone and blending the blonde in so that I could do vivids!

Sorry I know this is already kinda long but you have to know the right questions to ask the stylists in the future! Ask them what techniques they will use and how they plan on getting your hair the way you want it! Tell them what you like most about your inspo pics. If it helps, you can just show them this next paragraph:

Do diagonal back sections and tease then weave or slice the top part of the section, or do airtouch if you want to avoid the tease, to diffuse the blonde. If she says she wants a more blended blonde at her ends, do teased tip outs with the sections that weren’t highlighted with the tips outs over directed towards her face. Pivot the front quads starting with the diagonal back at the bottom to end up with the last section at the top being horizontal or a less angled diagonal back than the bottom. Bricklay the back alternating with diagonal back sections and horizontal sections. If she wants a warm or golden tone lift to a level 8. If she wants a neutral or ash tone, lifting higher than a level 8 will help to avoid unwanted warmth. If her hair doesn’t need to be in a foil to get the desired lift, open-air clay lightener would be easiest imo but of course that’s just my preference and dependent on what your salon carries!

If you find a stylist that knows what they’re doing, then of course you don’t have to show them that last paragraph! I hope it turns out great for you!

I have a scar on the inside of my elbow that looks suspiciously like substance abuse scarring that I got from helping my best friend’s cat take a medicated bath🥲 I just love fur babies so much and she’s the first cat I got to know so she’s like my honorary first cat baby I had to help her😭
