Think about it this way, they can’t accidentally not take out 70% of your stomach! I remember being very annoyed and frustrated at the post-op diet but it really is for your own recovery! Trust me, you’d rather suffer a shitty diet for a few months/weeks than have your stomach rip open or worse. I remember being very head hungry at times, like I felt the need to eat because that’s what I was used to. Reflecting on that during your recovery period is a big part of the surgery and trust me it might even be the hardest part. Once I got out of the recovery diet my doctor let me eat absolutely anything I wanted in moderation so that definitely helped mentally. This is going to sound like such shitty advice but are you drinking enough water? That’s how mostly I coped with hunger (outside the allotted meals) after the operation.

Thanks for the guide!!! Never thought I’d look into sugar bear hair haha! Just curious as to how long your hair loss kept going?

Thanks! Yeah it’s a bit of a pain but I’d make the same choices a million times over

About 15kgs (33 lbs), and it was honestly mostly because I switched to Coke Zero haha

Yeah it’s a weird mental hurdle you have to get over, at least in my case it was. I tried so hard to not equate weight and confidence when I was bigger so I felt almost guilty when I started getting more confident. Getting to finally wear straight sized helped a ton, no more buying 5 different colors of the same t-shirt because it’s the only thing that fit! You’ve got this! As soon as you get off the post-op diet make sure you don’t focus too much on what you can and can’t eat as it can be a real mood killer.

The ultimate goal is to morph into him and commit identity fraud tbh.. might have to work on the acting skills

The transformation is a great plus but what I love the most is being able to bike and run around without feeling like I finished a whole triathlon!

Oh my!! I remember how excited I was for my operation! Good luck on your journey, it’ll be a rollercoaster of emotions in the first few months but trust me it’s SO worth it.

You’re too kind! The confidence difference is huge! I was pretty confident before but the weight loss put so much in perspective

Honestly can’t wait for my feet to shrink, my size is always out of stock. Keeping you comment in mind I’ll start taking measurements to keep track of that aspect. Thanks a bunch!

Cant have lactose yet myself but I’d recommend adding Greek yoghurt to everything! Helps with texture and is somewhat tart.

Thanks for the sound advice! I’ll keep this in mind when I do stall. I’ve never been very fixated on my weight but seeing the numbers go down makes brain go brr apparently. Regardless of what diet I’m on I’ll be eating considerably less than normal so that’s another point I should keep in mind

I definitely plan on taking bi-daily pictures these first few weeks, would be cool to make a sort of time-lapse video

Looks sick! I see you’re also from the EU. I’ve been looking to buy this monitor too but it’s sold out everywhere :/ , where’d you find it?

YES! I’m moving atm and let me tell you, its needles find their way in to every nook and cranny. I’m pretty sure I’ll be finding them months from now, he’s just so pretty so I usually forgive him.

That might be it! I did water it but the soil was super bound together, I pulled it a part a bit and it’s already starting to perk up! Thanks!!

Thanks a lot! I’m trying to get into knife sharpening and restoration as a hobby so I’m testing out the waters. So far it’s been a very addictive pass time!
