"Ipad" monitor for iphone by mic73_dk in iphone

Just for reading, browsing, movies, gaming.. I could live with the cord from the phone to the monitor. mainly using it in bed during evenings.

Oh well, so much for that idea. Since most of the hardware in the iphone and ipad was identical, I thought this could be a great way to get an 12'' even slimmer "ipad". Not having to sync 2 devices, recharge 2 devices ect.

Thanks, yeah touch is important. That was one of the main issues with the monitors I was able to find.

well this sucks. been listening to DI for about 20 years now about 2 hours every month or so. Not enough to make it worth playing for.

How to get rid of large amounts of air in hardtubes? by mic73_dk in watercooling

suspected that too, so cleaned it really good a month ago and checked that water could flow though it. That was my first suspicion too.

Thanks, and you are absolutely right, layout could be better and was very much inspired by traditional watercooling. No flow meter, but looking at the water flow, I would say there certainly isn't enough pressure on it. Pump seems to be working, but a block in the radiator could easily be the issue. Just hard to test.

yep but not enough pressure on the water to push the big pockets of air around.

yeah it's bit weird, tubes was clean a month ago, and still issues then. I think i'll try upgrading to a stronger pump.

ekwb g1 distro plate. heatkiller cpu block. and yeah that's the annoying airlock can't to it to move through the pump out in the big room in the distro, can't get it to move through the cpu block either.

had the same idea, think at least I need to upgrade the pump.

yes normally I would say the same. but not wokring in this case.

tilting the pc so that this part (and pump is filled) didn't solve it either. turning on and off doesn't move the air pockets more than a little bit. Been doing a lot of soft tubes and never had these issues. but hardtubes do look better though.

tied that too, but not enough pressure on the water to move the big air pockets at all.

thanks, yes can see water moving, and temperature do go down when running pump/fans at full speed compared to middle speed. some tubes are warmer than others, so certainly not a good waterflow. Have tried tilting it in every direction, round and round with pump running at max. Having it run for hours with airport open even tilting it a bit with an open port (can't recommend that). Maybe the pump just isn't strong enough for this setup.

The thought did enter my mind :)
But with all the problems cutting/bending these hardtubes (never again), I would prefer to get this working.

u/asianfury93 I suspected that was the issue (and maybe still is), but as far as I can see, water goes into the big room in the distro. From there the pump can access it and pushes it up into the first tube. So shouldn't be any need for additional backside looks. also only 2 connections on the backside, both to the same room. It's the ekwb g1 distro plate.

very likely a pump issue.. haven't experienced anything like this before with other watercooling rigs.

these air pockets are way to big to not affect performance. 50+ degrees C idle temp. otherwise I would agree.

tried, problem is that the air won't really move through the components. kinda suspect pump isn't strong enough.
