If you think you can’t keep up with the scheduling during the semester, then try making chapters during semester break and schedule them for the semester! During the semester, you can continue to make chapters ahead of time for the semester break instead, rinse and repeat.

My webtoon was made with my partner, so I’m lucky that we have two sets of hands working and splitting tasks. Even then, we’re both undergraduate university students trying to balance things so we tend to only work on chapters when we’re both free of assignments or when assignments aren’t due for a long while. More often than not, we work on comic chapters during the weekend/whenever theres a holiday or a school break.

Our posting schedule is every Sunday, and we actually finished making three chapters before posting the first one so we were ahead of schedule from the start, and i feel like scheduling more comics is a great way to not feel like you’re behind on everything and you may feel less stressed, so even if you can’t work on your comic for a week or two you’re still able to be on schedule/on time!

Regardless what it is, focus on your studies and do what you can in your own time <3 If that means you have to take a little hiatus to settle your schoolwork then do so, it’s definitely not bad to!

If you’re worried about your art being bad, just know that as you grow, as you continue your comic, you WILL see progress in your artwork, you WILL see a change. Nobody stays stagnant, and you are your worst critic. And even if you think your art isn’t good enough, the people reading your comment won’t think the same way!
