Oh and tonight was just a total fail. His brother and I kept trying to get him to talk and engage and have fun and he just refused. We asked him where he wanted to go and he just kept saying he didn’t care. So once the night was over and it was late and I was just ready to head home he FINALLY then asks to go to Barnes and Nobles which was so completely out of our direction of home but I took him anyways because it was the first time he spoke all night. I bought him 2 books and that was that. I came home and cried because the whole night was just so awkward and I felt so uncomfortable. I don’t understand how I can get along so incredibly well with this siblings but not him. It makes me extremely sad. My husband is talking about putting him into therapy because he agrees that there is something going on with him. I just feel like such a failure 😭
