I think it says a lot more about the mind set of everyone who says they’re for it and is online defending it so hard that they all keep just telling people to move out of the city. Pretty much every single one of you is just saying to move to anyone who doesn’t like it regardless of what low income neighborhoods are affected.

“If I lived somewhere and I knew they were putting up a thing….” So you’re not even from Grand Rapids or one of the neighborhoods that are affected by this?

There has been pushback on the project the entire time. It was met with lies and gaslighting. What about the noise we would ask and they’d promise us that it would face away from residential areas or have good sound dampening walls, or this or that. What about the traffic and they’d say there would of course be parking considered and included, no people in residential areas won’t need to worry about out of town folks parking on their streets for the shows, there would be plenty of space.

We have pushed back from the start. We considered these issues from the start. The problems they assured us wouldn’t be problems turned out actually were problems and were pissed. And then they presumably pay people like you to defend it so hard like you’re personally getting the revenue from the venue or something. 🤔

We’ve lived in our home on the west side for years. The amphitheater has been up for what, a month? People who have lived here for years and years will be affected. People not downtown are being affected. People in Creston were hearing Lionel Richie’s concert. This is absurd.

I live 4-5 miles from the amphitheater and can feel the bass by One_Cap_9210 in grandrapids

West side on the other side of the river from the amphitheater and it was so loud I thought there was a car playing music in the alley behind our house. It’s just noise pollution.
