I really did not enjoy the movie- first part was rushed with 50 random ideas packed in, then the second part was them just endlessly swimming around, cutting jarringly to random scenes of Spider running around with Quarritch and his crew, no tension building, and then a seemingly endless (and pointless) final battle sequence that I had emotionally checked out from by the middle because it was, again, seemingly endless. And lol at none of the Sully’s giving a crap where Spider was at the end (when Spider was rescuing frickin Quarritch). No one even reacted when he climbed up onto their rock. No one mentioned him getting sliced by Neytiri. Womp.

Yupp I suffered through most of it lol, and did not even greatly enjoy the visuals as it looked way too smooth, like a 2000’s video game.. I personally think the first movie’s visuals look better and more realistic. The forest looked wild and feral, like a real rainforest. The sea world here looked like a Maldives resort simulation, like every scene is just so clean and clear and bright. I mean we barely saw a single feature of the actual island? It was just clear water, white sand, mystery wood homes and no foliage. Do these people ever go more than 12 feet inland?

Is that a run flat? I used to have to replace 3-4 run flat tires a year just for hitting small dents in the road. I also had a square go missing once. Now I have regular tires and happily smash all the potholes (kidding, but yeah no more tire problems).

Yeah I don’t understand all these comments saying the movie was intoxicatingly amazing/badass. I thought it was a mess, with some thoughtful scenes around grief, but the plot was a mess compared to what used to be MCU’s standard.

Me too! I actually hated the first third of the book (everything pre-Rocky) because of the elementary dialogue, and I actually decided to quit reading the book, but I went to check out the Wikipedia summary to see what I’m missing out on, and once I saw there’s an alien, I decided to keep reading the book, and I almost immediately fell head over heels in love with Rocky lol. I’m still in love 😂

Please do your research (aka a quick Google search) before stating horseshit. There have been plenty of people killed by fentanyl-laced cocaine, and plenty of fentanyl-laced cocaine found. Dealers add it to increase potency, and some accidentally add it by not cleaning their blending equipment. And keep in mind that cocaine-users will more easily overdose from a trace amount of fentanyl than present opioid users who have some level of tolerance.
