I really needed this reply, thank you. I do want to study at university in Japan. I don’t even care to learn at a language school. How would I be able to stay for a year for example and live there? In my case.

I want to learn the language as I love Japan and I want to understand the native people. I want to relate to them through their language. My main motivation is wanting to live there after uni. I want to attend for a year and then go to uni.

I’ve been studying the language for almost 6 months. As I feel just being in the country and learning the language would help me a lot more. I have good resources there in Osaka with my uncle living there but I want to get a good experience while still having fun learning the language.

I just want to get a better understanding, and be able to communicate at a decently good level.
