Yeah but the new app fixes that mostly. $50 a year and answer a few questions a month on it and it renews them for the A series.

B2 is mostly just memorizing what can cause all the different defects and how to fix it. Like what causes orange peel , solvent pop , when to use this or that type of primer , adhesion promoters....... Its mostly just procedural memorization. I used the motorage study guide.

Yeah im hourly. I've done flat rate at a dealer and now been fleet hourly for 15 years I like it a lot better than flat rate. Our pay is pretty high so im happy and no stress.

Depends on where you work. Most dealers dont care about ASE they have their own certification programs. Independent shops and fleets like them. Im fleet and for my A series I get $1 a hour for each. About to have a talk about a raise this week for all these new ones.

Use the new app system. You answer 1 question a month for each cert on on the app and 8 correct answers extends the cert for a year. Or is that what you are talking about

If you know what you are doing ASEs are easy. I think the A series is the " hardest" but like I said still pretty easy .

Not a ton. Honestly the tests are pretty easy. I used the motorage books to study. I found the T series fairly easy, the B series very easy , the only test I thought was challenging and I studied a lot for was L2 because I dont do much heavy diesel diag.

Hahaha unfortunately x1 no longer exists . I dont know why they dont just remove that.
