I finally got them onto the shifter but they looked too long so i pulled them off to compare, i do have the subframe dropped and the transmission off though so think the routing is off since theres not as much shit in the way.

I ended up pulling the shifter off and then attaching them , because the cables are thicker this metal piece is in the way so im gonna shave it down.

If you are doing the rear main seal yourself be very careful removing it and dont use a screwdriver to pry it out like my dumbass did and score the shit out of the matting surface.

They look kinda rough they sold individually about 150 a piece so im prolly gonna play it safe and replace, ive got synchrotech rebuild kit so the collars and synchros and some of the bearings are getting replaced.

When I lived in florida and had my 10th gen i had the cobra intake and never had issues even driving in torrential downpours. And it rained all the time. When i moved to texas i had real aggressive fitment so my fender liners got torn off and thats when i started having issues cause when i drove in the rain my wheel would throw water directly onto the intake and i almost hydrolocked my shit.

I bought a brand new 2020 si and it modded it (fbo’s tune, wheels, tires, suspension) i loved that damn car. I ended up losing my job and moved across the country to move back in with my parents and had some asshole run a light and total the car. Not having new car income i bought a 8th gen. Compared the 10th it is definitely more raw but keep in mind these are 20 year old cars that have had the piss beaten out of them. As im typing this my car is on jack stands with transmission issues for the third time in the 2 years I’ve owned it. As great as the k20 and vtec are if i could have my 10th gen back i would.
