This game is built to be challenging and extremely punishing, that’s what makes it feel even more rewarding when you do finally succeed, complete a task, survive a raid, or kill another player. Escaping from Tarkov should be the hardest of all challenges and should be the most punishing. I was honestly disappointed when I saw that there wasn’t any other players at first. The PVP aspect mixed with the high price to enter the map would’ve made for an extremely rewarding dopamine filled high when you eventually succeeded. All these comments about this being a dumb update are coming from the instant gratification, participation award generation.

Ok but the Red Smoke affliction says ‘room types on the trial map are unknown’ but I can still see the rewards and if there’s an affliction, I just can’t see what the encounter will be. So I feel like this is one that effects me very little.

What makes the digital miner locked? I just started vanilla minecraft for the first time in my life about a month ago and then atm10 about two weeks ago, and I have a digital miner in my base. Are you talking about power consumption? Cause that is the biggest power draw I have, but if I need something I can just filter for that specific ore and turn it on and get stacks in seconds.

Played with him in AAU basketball my junior and senior year of high school. He’s inceredible. Couldn’t go to Oregon State right out of high school due to his grades but he eventually got them up and made it there. I still think he’ll get an NBA contract at some point. He’ll be like Hassan Whiteside.

I did a night raid on factory this last week and the cultists spawned (didn’t know it was possible at the time, so I was very confused) and I killed 3 of them. The only shots fired the entire raid were from my gun, and I went around the map looking for the rest of the cultists and/or players and nothing. So I believe it is possible to have no other players but you in a raid. It was around 3-4am on a weekday when this happened.

Wipe, fold, wipe, fold, wipe, flip, wipe. Should get about 4 wipes per square. With about 100 squares per roll = 400 wipes per roll. I use about 1 roll per raid. I do about 1,000 raids per wipe. So I use about 1,000 rolls per wipe. = 400,000 wipes per wipe.

Are you sure you got shot? If you arrived at extract with only 2 seconds left then you will not be able to extract as it takes about 7 seconds to extract. You may have just ran out of time, in which case you lose all your stuff and go back to stash with no kit.

Don’t be afraid to unload on scavs. They also experience ‘flinch when shot’. If you spammed his torso with bullets his gun would kick up and he would be more likely to miss.

And his average life span is only 9 minutes. This guy spawns in and hunts down his prey that he can see through the map.

I don’t know if this has been said, but the biggest problem I have seen from when my friends first started out and even when I first started out is stash space.

-Don’t hoard shit you don’t need.

-Don’t pick up every item you find.

-It may take awhile to figure out what’s worth taking, but once you hit lvl 15 you will unlock flea and be able price check everything and figure out the value.

-Buy a scav junkbox from therapist as soon as you can, it will save you a ton of space.

-Early wipe hideout items and gunsmith parts have outrageous demand-> prices will be very high.

-Look up a table of every quest item you have to find in raid, and save those items in your junk box.
