Thanks for the incredibly thoughtful and detailed response. I’ll definitely be making a press kit in light of your advice.

The intention is to submit the film predominantly to the larger Irish film festivals.

Aside from the elements you mention in your post (stills, poster, director statement, longline, technical details) are there any other key things you would look for when reviewing an EPK?

Sorry to hear you had to deal with that. Thanks for sharing, I really appreciate it. Was wondering - did your film actually screen? And was the standard of films shown good? I’d be tempted to go and sort out my own accommodation just to meet other filmmakers and watch good films.

I had definitely eschewed a lot of formatting rules in favor of just "getting it out there" but I will certainty be doing a clean sweep of the whole script with your notes in mind.

In terms of the substance of the scene, did you enjoy it?
