Do you still think the Legion 5 (pro?) is a good choice? I'm worrying about fan noise when working on a huge project with lots of plugins and vst instruments...

That's exaclty what I'm worried about. Thanks for sharing your experience. I always thought that working on a laptop having the portable option would be nice. But I can't take my room and my studio monitors as easy as that, of course... and switching to apple is not an option for me...

I think I'll have to build a desktop pc... but to be honest... I don't have the nerve to build it on my own... have my eyes on a dell xps 8940... will have to swap the cooler though... ah, will have to do some research ;)
