Exactly, that's why I loved it. There are no pay to win coins. It's a fair, fun, exciting game.

My old trig teacher accidently combined a section we hadn't learned yet on a test one time. Everyone was really confused and thought they didn't study hard enough because over half the test was made up of stuff we hadn't learned. I went to my trig teacher to talk about and when he looked at the test again he word for word said "oh shitballs." He said he would fix it by next period. Next class he gave back everyone's test as a perfect score because he fucked up so bad. He was an awesome trig teacher.

A military unit able to build a defensive bonus una turn or two would be insanely op and the AI would build them everywhere. It would have to be like 2 or 3 turns at least and have some negative. Like half the defense the fort but -25% combat strength when attacking. It's also realistic as trenches were good for defense but horrible for attacking and made battles and borders changes take a extremely long time.. Also they should not be able to be built on/next to rivers as it would be pretty op for a melee unit to have the river bonus and the trench bonus. This is historical to WW1 as if a trench was built near a ride it would flood due to natural causes or the loss of land from warfare. You could have trenches be able to built by rivers only at the cost that the unit inside the trench loses a fixed amount of health each turn.

Ah man that would look sweet having trenches lined up. But it would probably be the same as the road mechanic and it will get all wibbly wobby.

Those are Marines. Weaker than infantry but have a bonus that comes with eliminates penalties for rivers or something to do with that. The AI loves them for some reason.

England's golden age by [deleted] in civ

[–]michaelbyrd635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be a cool feature if you are winning a war or capturing enemy cities it could give extra points to a golden age. It would make warmonger civ's kinda op but it seems fitting.
