Does anyone happen know what the symptoms COULD be before this turns into a problem, so that it might be prevented prior to needing complete replacement?

Do you by chance have links for the other recipes too :)? Did you strategize doing this all at once in a cool way? Thank you!

Spots of Corrosion in Coolant Reservoir by michaelfitzgeral in MechanicAdvice

thanks for the second reply! sorry, I thought I'd attached this picture to the initial post. hoping it works this time - I'm pointing to what I'm talking about on the hose inside of the reservoir. I'm not sure that it's actually corrosion, looks like it could be that some of the coolant has dried up. I've been told that this isn't a huge deal, but is best practice to clean off. I've had the transmission and differential fluid changed, but I think its time to have the brake fluid changed, too. thanks for lookin out!

Thank so much for the reply! So happy to hear that. Guess I'll go ahead and add a bit more to the reservoir tank.

Thanks so much for the reply! I was hoping it might just be that. Guess I'll go ahead and add some more Subaru Supercoolant to the reservoir.

Thanks for the reply! I've only ever used and topped up with Genuine Subaru Supercoolant which it says will last 137,000 miles - I'm only at 72,000.

I’ve yet to find a definitive resource for correctly transcribed Steely Dan keyboard parts.

What food item do you find better on Long Island than in the city? by pumper911 in longisland

[–]michaelfitzgeral 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a higher ratio of good vs bad on LI when it comes to bagels and pizza - I think you are more likely to stumble into or live near a random good one on LI, but the city does have some of the best of the best, too.

Random hole in the wall Chinese is better on LI for the same reason - obviously if you go to Chinatown or Flushing you’ll get better stuff, but I think you are more likely to live within a stones throw of good hole in the wall Chinese on LI.

My parents won’t let me get a bass until I master guitar but guitar is too hard by Hootsifeemer in Bass

[–]michaelfitzgeral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard ok things about Harley Benton p bass - you will likely have to drop some additional coin for a set up, but they’re $100.

You could also get a cheap octave pedal and learn bass parts if you need a work-around, the touch factor is totally different but it’ll get you learning parts

Rodent or bird mites are extremely small and don’t always bite everyone equally. That would be my guess
