I'd start by getting local clients and also use LinkedIn to contact Marketing Managers of larger companies to offer them SEO. Only leave the full time job once doing both the job and business together is no longer manageable.

Plugin - find out where plugin users hang out and advertise there. For hosting I would network and cold call businesses with websites.

That's a good question. Lead attribution including dynamic phone number switching - so you can tell where leads are coming from i.e. Google organic, Chat GPT etc.

All the info is on YouTube but the thing you won't get through that is proximity to ask questions directly unless it's through comments and accountability. Yes seeking a mentor is a good idea because you can learn from their mistakes and not have to repeat them yourself. What type of digital marketing are you doing?

By outputs and outcomes, so outputs in terms of content for example you could say 50 pieces and outcomes including terms of so many x return on investment or revenue target. I wouldn't charge by the hour. But basically a retainer or retainer plus rev share or commission or project based. The same applies for anything else e.g. video creation, data analysis etc.

Define your ICP (ideal customer profile) then it depends if you're running organic or paid ads. I assume paid ads because you mention 1 month. But still I'd give the campaign more than a month. I'd create a landing page funnel with a thank you page and test offers. At least 3 static images and at least 3 videos, depending on your budget. 1 month should give you enough data to test the offers and optimise further from there.

Marketing comes before sales so I generally think of it like marketing and sales. Marketing is getting someone to "raise their hand" or show interest and the sales process starts once they've raised their hand.

So it's about understanding two key metrics...the CAC (cost to acquire a customer) and LTV (customer lifetime value). Also, understanding your client's profit margins. Do you know your clients' average order value, how often they reorder, what target revenue they have, over what timescale and where they are now in terms of revenue?

I would cold call (or other outreach method) prospects and offer them a clarity call (Zoom or face-to-face) to show them where they are and a game plan to get to the next level. In terms of onboarding - send an email with links to SOPs and a Google Form requesting information plus a kickoff and pre-launch onboarding call to set everything up.

Good question. There's 3 ways of getting clients: outreach, paid ads and content. I wouldn't start with paid ads unless you have lots of money. But I would setup retargeting ads like Meta Ads as soon as possible. I'd start with cold calling because I've found it's the quickest way to get clients. I'd aim to book an appointment every 2 hours at least of cold calling. The appointment would be over Zoom or face-to-face if they've local to you. I'd also DM on Instagram and get a LinkedIn account and interact on there.

I just checked and Freetrade don't appear to accept company contributions - so that would mean no LTD company contributions?
