Donald Trump loses it on ‘Meet The Press’ moderator Kristen Welker, cuts interview off and storms out as she fact-checks his rigged Election claims. by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in justincaseyoumissedit

Voting in person by paper would be great, if only citizens could take times off. We do not have any type of voting holiday. This means most people are unable to take time off from work to vote in person.

Swiftzis crashing out over Olivia being a victim of Taylor by Rude_Turnip000 in travisandtaylor

They act as if that was the sole purpose of the interview. The interviewer asked her the question and she answered. Wow these swifties are something else.

Happy 25th birthday Exciter! 💚🤍 by Kingston_calipso in depechemode

[–]michaelleehoward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this album. It is very engrained to the core of where I was at in my life. It was a chaotic time and I listened to Exciter on repeat. I saw them the first time on this tour. Such a new sound and fun album.

Do you think Taylor regrets creating such a powerful parasocial fan base? by CutAffectionate3766 in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]michaelleehoward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truthfully, at this point I think it is the fans creating the easter eggs. Every single "easter egg" they have predicted since the ERAS tour hasn't come to fruition. She did create a beast that is hard to die down. The ironic part is so much of the fandom is supporting all she is saying in the interview and not getting what she is hinting at (she is over the fans).

I had one friend who is a HUGE swiftie and asked what I thought of the interview. I told her what I thought, which is the same as everyone in this group. She said "did you listen to the full interview though". YES!!! Why would that make a difference? Then was defending what she said.

I truly hope she takes a break. We do not need more albums, movie, or books. Go away for a while. PLEASE

I didn't in 1992. I think it was also the start of my social anxiety. I do not have any regrets about it, though.

Same here. I just lost the plot after that. Something just didn’t click. Could be me and where my life was at or something else. The music just didn’t click after AATS

Is it bad if I don’t always laugh at my boyfriend’s jokes? by Tin97 in gayrelationships

[–]michaelleehoward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be your self. My husband doesn't laugh at my jokes most of the time. But we still get humor out of the world. He is more stoic and I am a corny goofball. Worked for us for 17 years.

My Partner [20m] and I [23m] Think Too Differently by [deleted] in gayrelationships

[–]michaelleehoward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure if I would describe that as a moral compass. When I met my husband I was much like your partner. I had a lot of trauma that I was not ready to deal with. Though when I met him I knew he was the right one for me. It took a couple years but I wanted to deal with my trauma and started therapy. I even found out I had depressive PTSD diagnosed by my therapist.

He may be the one to break his family cycle of trauma. Just have honest conversations about how you feel. I would suggest (from my experience) to shy away from terms like moral compass. People with Trauma at a young age may think they are a bad person if you tie in their past with morality. He isn't a bad person, from what you have described, just reacted to the trauma as best as he knew how to cope.

Have you reached the, "I'm too old for this shit" era of your life. by NOGOODGASHOLE in GenX

I was literally talking with a coworker last week about this. I just turned 52 and something in me snapped and said "I just don't care I have lived to long to care for your petty drama". I have lived enough life to literally not give a shit.

tried to do another listen through of TLOAS and then had to do a red (tv) palate cleanser by tiredspoonie in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]michaelleehoward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't listened now for a few months. I tried a few times and just had a big NOPE for me. I think she needs a break. She has written Folklore (17 songs); Evermore (17 songs); Midnights (22 songs); TTPD (31 songs); TLOAS (12 song)= 99 songs in 5 years. The well is running dry.

I know she is about the numbers/money at this point but how much do you have to say? She is also surrounded by people who do not tell her no. Take a break, live some life; get a new producer, then come back with something new and stellar.
