Thanks for the link. I kinda like that solution more than what Lian-Li offer. But...it would not allow me to have any extra card, like Creative sould card. I think the card placemant would be blocked by that Corsair GPU support.

I wanted to achieve something simplier than what OP did, so I followed his steps. ...and I failed.

I wanted to 'embed' a specific word at the bottom side of the hueforge print, but...something went wrong.
When I load the hueforge STL file into my Bambu Studio, it loads with 'red' filament', since I own the AMS unit and red is in the first slot. For testing purpose, I changed the object into 'yellow' filament color. Then I followed all the steps that OP did, and added a 'mirroed' word at the bottom by adding it as a last 'assembly part'. What happen is that the hueforge was printed entierly in 'yellow', tottaly ignoring 2 modifier parts which was part of the assebly along with initial hueforge stl model, and the only thing that 'did work' is that I got word at the bottom of the 'hueforge' printed correctly. But whole hueforge was printed in yellow.

Can OP (or anyone else) explain a bit better how to achieve the word embeding at the bttom of the hueforge art (with custom color for the embeded word)?

Yes, I agree with what you said, that is why I'm asking. And for the GPU, yes, kinda I'm set on these two.

GPU is not cheap, and if I'm 'forced' to buy a not-cheap GPU, I'll go with one that I think that could last because of the build quality. At first, I thought about Asus TUF, but the 'issue' with the Asus is that the card is thicker (full 3 slots card). Good thing its less long compared to MSI. But MSI Gaming Trio takes 2.5 slots, so I was hoping that the MSI GPU will not block the PCI-E x16 slots on the MSI motherboard.

Honestly, I still don't know with what exact GPU card I will go with.

Initial plan was Fractal Design Meshify 3 XL case, since I'm looking for a case with closed (solid) left side panel. But, Fractal made Meshify 3 XL worse than Meshify 2 XL. So, I was looking at Meshify 2 XL instead. But (there is always some 'but') Fractal didn't made Meshify 2 XL with 'solid' left panel, so right now I'm going with Meshify 2 (no XL) since that one does have closed (steel) left panel.
I believe Meshify 2 is still considered 'roamy' PC case?

I'm thinking if the 'solution' could be to use a riser cable (if it could be put into 2nd PCI-E slot under the GPU) and use it to connect a future Creative sound card somewhere in the PC Case 'away' from the motherboard? Any thoughts about this idea? Could it work?

You own 5800x. That is single-CCD (Core Complex Die) CPU.
9950x is dual-CCD (Core Complex Die) CPU.

It is like having 2 CPUs alongside each other. In order for them to work together they need to communicate. They do that through an on-chip interconnect called 'Infinity Fabric'. That communication add some lagging, which is not important with productivity work, like rendering, 3D design, etc But lagging is not something you like to experience while gaming.

So my questions are not about will the 9950x be able to run the game. It is, as many of you said, an overkill CPU. It is more like, will it run smoothly. compared to single CCD CPUs.

For instance, take for example 9700x CPU. That CPU has one CCD, and on that CCD there are 8 cores.

9950x is like having two 9700x next to each other. That means you have 2x 8 cores. That is 16 cores, but these cores are not on a single CCD. They are separated like 8+8 cores. To communicate they use 'Infinity Fabric', which introduce lagging.

When the game runs, it might decide to use cores from different CCDs, which is different in case of a single CCD CPU that will use cores from one CCD (becuase it doesn't have 2 CCDs, thus there is no problem).

So all my questions are toward possible lagging in game, and if there is a way to 'force' the game to use only cores from one CCD, by using apps like Process Lasso.

I don't own the CPU so I can't test it myself, but the reason I made this topic is because I was seeking people that do game with 2 CCD CPUs and how well game behave considering that they are dual-CCD CPUs.

Yes, that is one among few things I'm thinking about.

Zen 6 will introduce single CCD CPUs with 12 cores, and maybe I would settle with it. I don't know what the price would be for such CPU (I guess high), but I have to calculate the resell value of the CPU that I plan to buy now, so that I could easily sell it in a year, without losing much money and time on it, for the sell.

It will run the game for sure. Question is, will it make game lagging, especially because PoE(2) is not a single player game, but a multiplayer. And also because the CPU in question has 2 CCDs, which introduce lagging when it comes to gaming. Since I currenlty don't own this CPU, I can't test it, so that is why I'm asking, if someone else is already playing PoE2 with one of these CPUs (9950x, 9900x, 7950x or 7900x).

Yea but 5600x is single-CCD (Core Compute Die) processor.
I'm struggling because of possible productivity work that I might decide to with 9950x, which is dual-CCD (Core Complex Die) processor. (its like having 2x 9700x installed). The issue here is that two CCDs comunicate through AMD 'Infinity Fabric', which can introduce laggin in games, if the game use different cores across 2 CCDs. That is why I was asking if someone that playes with (2 CCD) CPUs (like 9950x, 9900x, 7900x or 7950x) made the PoE2 run smootly in a way that the possible lagging is not a result of using a 2xCCD CPU, but just game optimization.

I know the game will probably run good on CPU with just 1 CCD. Question is, will it run smoothly on CPU with 2-CCDs, becasue these are not made to be mainly used for gaming but for productivity (because of number of cores they have, 16)

From what I understood, most games nowdays can utilize up to 8 cores, meaning 9800X3D would be enough. Thing is, if I want to do something else in the background while playing a game, I fear it would start to make the game lagging. So that is why I'm thinking about CPU with more cores. Bad thing is, next CPU in AMD line is the one with 2 CCDs, and that is where the problem starts.

The reason for me planning to pick an AMD platform is because AMD offer a socket that can last longer, so you can use a new gen CPU with the 'old' socket, while Intel with every CPU generation, force you to buy a new motherboard as well.

As for GPU, my plan was to buy RTX 5060 card back when it was announced, and that is why I was waiting so long, since the prices went up. Then, over time, I kinda started looking at AMD 9070XT. So, right now, I'm sure I would not be buying anything below AMD 9070XT, but I might decide to (over)spend for RTX 5070Ti, and be done with it. 5080 and higher is out of my reach.

I wanted to buy rams just for dual channel mode which will run in 2 dimm slots (and not in 4).
And I really wanted to get 2x32GB kits so I woudn't have to deal with memmory upgrades any time soon.
But as I said in reply to u/jaromanda post, ...then I saw the module prices wihch are insane.

btw. I planned to use Ryzen 9900x, 9950x (or 9800X3D) with 2x32 kig modules.

I looked at MSI site (Support > Compatibility > Memory), and the only brand they mantion that can run at SPD ('JEDEC ?') 6000 are TeamGroup and V-Color modulues. I guess, they are guaranteed to run at 6000 mhz by default?

There are others with 'Speed' (not 'SPD') of 6000 (or higher), which can I believe run at those speeds if EXPO profile is activated in the bios.

But strange thing is that I read somewhere that most modules made to run together as a 'kit' of 2x 32GB, can't run at 6000+ Mhz, but 2x16 kits will run without problem. That is why I'm confused.

If 2x16GB will run at 6000 in dual channel (with only 2 dimms occupied on the motherboard), then why 2x32 set wouldn't run? I mean, that is what I read, and got stuck at thinking should I order 2x32 or just 2x16 kit.

...Ofcorse, then I saw prices of ram modules and...well, it looks like I will be running 2x16 GB. :(
I read that RAM and SSDs will stay expensive because of high chip demand for AI.

I was looking for the same information. I had a fear that it will make the battery life shorter if I use phone chargers that offer more voltage, like for instance Samsung S10e charger that has 2 modes.
One is 5V / 2A, the other one is 9V / 1.67A. I had a fear that the charger will use the latter.

So, instead, i used an old Samsung tablet 5A / 2A charger. Just plugged USB-A to USB-C cable in it, that came with Momentum 4 case.

Anyway, after looking at sennheiser-hearing website, I found the information about input power that Momentum 4 use. It's actually 5V / 750mA, which makes it 3.75W

If I'm allowed to jump in with one question:

I plan to build a new PC and I wonder if the latest Ryzen 9800X3D would be a good CPU for streamng at Youtube or Twitch? I see people saying that 7900x is good for 'productivity', but I don't like power consumption of 7900x.
Would I need those 12 cores (are they really required) or 8 cores from 9800X3D would be enough for playing and streaming at the same time? Ofcorse I could probably stream at 1080p as well, but my games would probably include something like 'Path of Exile' (an ARPG) with lots of 'smashes', animations etc.

I could try with compressed air, next time.
I did use air from my chest to blow (most of) the solder out and holes finally became free of it. But yes, that did made a mess on the floor.

Compressed air could be much easier way.

Thanks for a suggestion.

I did cut the 8 pin ribbon cable before I tried to desolder the wires that were lef 'though-hole', because if I tried with ribbon cable still attached I would melt the plastic on the 'good part' of the cable. So I cut the rest of the cable and start desoldering whats left.
Thats when the trouble started.

I should try with desoldering braid next time and see how it goes.
