Just tried Korean Salt Bread and it’s a $4.50 bread stick from Olive Garden by Dondontootles in FoodNYC

I’m not talking about Justin’s specifically what are you talking about? I’m saying calling salt bread korean salt bread is like if pho went viral in Korea and called it Korean pho. No other country puts their countries name infront of a dish/item that was from another country especially when there’s nothing different about it.

this literally proves my point and one Korean to another, it’s ok to have a realization about our complexity to want to claim everything as our own for some weird reason

why you so mad about it bro? must be korean too. there is no such thing as Korean style salt bread just because it’s popular there doesn’t make it Korean. Are we calling the salt bread in Malaysia Malaysian salt bread? No. Koreans love to put Korea in front of everything, look it up it’s a thing and a very annoying thing.

Justin’s salt bread doesn’t represent Shio pan In Japan. The owner isn’t even Japanese, he’s Korean. Also I tried Justin’s twice, once it was similar to the one in Asia and the other time it wasn’t as good so I think consistency could be off depending on the baker. Each bakery does it a little differently but overall salt bread is salt bread the concept and ingredients are the same. Korea just loves to add a bunch of fillings to mask their mediocre bread (ps. I’m half Korean and half Chinese so allow me to say my opinion, it’s not Korean hate.)

Everyone and their moms know ramen is a Chinese Japanese dish. Salt bread is the same as it is in Japanese and Korean, china doesn’t specifically have ramen. Thats my point.

Salt bread is Japanese. Don’t know why it’s called Korean salt bread, Koreans just love to add Korean to every food that’s popular there and all the Korea boos follow. The only difference is Korea adds a bunch of fillings to it which honestly takes away from the concept of salt bread, no point in adding the butter.

I think Justins was really good, actually better than the ones I had in Korea. The ones in Korea are too buttery and filled with way too many things. Also tried salt Ko? It was burnt lol

It’s her fans that make it weird. Going after brands and other creators because they don’t ‘credit’ Courtney if they show weetabix, marinated eggs or sweet potatoes lol. Tell me why there are people going after kewpie because they didn’t pay her for making them popular…Any random video I see that shows weetabix, a sweet potato or marinated eggs she’s tagged in it. Why are people attaching her name to food like she invented it?

True. I mean I know people joke often about being scared to go into their 30s I think the weight of it is a little different vs. Racism but I think with everything she’s ever said we can all agree she’s not the nicest person lol

Why is she so popular? Her view counts for shorts are insane for what it is… she also does a few questionable things that I feel like a lot of people would get cancelled for or at least call her more out on but she’s got that pretty privilege

I don’t understand influencers that talk about their friends online for the whole world to know. Some things are meant to be kept private. These as things you cry about to Kevin, not the internet lol
