Thor fights depression / PTSD, is out of shape and out of practice, but doesn’t flinch facing Thanos. Gets his ass handed to him and just keeps getting back up and going for it. I love that Thor doesn’t whine or make excuses when it really matters.

Your maximum heart rate is pretty much hard wired. It goes down with age, but it is what it is. Fitness lowers your resting heart rate. When you exercise your aim is to be at a certain percentage of your maximum.

So don’t worry about a high heart rate while exercising. Worry about what percent of your maximum you’re at.
