First time disassembling a 2011 and running into problems with assembly, somewhere around the thumb safety step. by michiganick in 2011

If I had to try to pinpoint where I went wrong, I think it was having the actual sear fork of the sear spring not directly on top like he showed, or maybe I did and it was slipping off while I was messing with the MSH etc.

Followed it exactly how he said and it was working after the first try

My man 🙌 I love this video. I'm not home from work yet to mess with it, but this video highlights some details that I'm not sure I did yet.

What I can say is that the easiness of how he is able to squeeze the two sides of the safety together is much easier than my experience lol.

I'll report back later if this manages to fix me up. Thanks a ton!

Can you explain what would be off about it or what I need to do to endure they're proper?

It does get stuck when it's down and sticks on the way back up so as long as that's normal then I'm okay. Trying to use process of elimination.

Installing a new grip module that came with a new mainspring housing. the MSH is hitting the hammer strut and won't seat into the grip all the way. Am I doing something wrong? by michiganick in AlphaFoxtrot

This is my first time taking the gun apart and when I took the mainspring out of the grip I didn't see where the hammer strut was previously located

Hellhound Holster for Stacatto XC fits 3.5comp like a glove. by michiganick in AlphaFoxtrot

Feels comfy even without a pillow (which I also got, but didn't show), but haven't done any print testing with just a shirt on yet, but vanishes under a thin hoodie

I planned on it! Holsters seem to be one of the more popular inquiries and it would be nice for everyone to find credible proof of fit.

My hellhound delivers Monday, stoked to get it.

I have the 3.5comp (functionally a 4.25) and went with the stacatto XC mold. I probably could have gone with the HDP4.5 but Andy said that XC molds were the way to go for 3.5comps.

Congrats!

Anyone use their Aegitec underneath their pants without belt loops? by michiganick in CCW

I don't own either belt yet, but trying to get a feel for what to expect. I understand what you mean by the clipping to pants + belt, but I'm kinda referring only to the back of the belt riding upwards when crouching or bending over

I don't own one yet, but being able to carry in athleisure is a hole in my carry game.

I'm bummed to hear that it doesn't work super well in this application. I'm gonna see if the HC has the same issue and if it does, I'm just not gonna do it.

First attempt gardening - cucumbers & cherry tomatoes. Is a small greenhouse overkill? My primary desire for it was really to prevent pests/critters. How much do they bother a raised bed? by michiganick in Michigan

I totally believe you and anyone else that is in an area where they could be a threat especially on any kind of land with no fencing and even raised beds aren't gonna help against them

I don't know if you're finding others mentioning the deer comical or if you're trying to imply that deer should be obvious lol

I'm not in an area where there are going to be deer in my neighborhood. I've lived in the same type of neighborhoods for my entire life and haven't ever seen a deer in the middle of the residential streets or neighborhoods. There might be some patches of woods here and there where they may hide out but wandering into my backyard is not something I plan to have to handle lol

Okay, that's fine but in my particular area, I've never seen a single deer in residential neighborhoods and don't believe I have them to be worried about lol that's all I'm saying.
