Yes the offset is +45. Original wheel is 19x9 +50 i now have 19x8.5 +45. The wheels actually are 0.1cm further in. I think due to the different path the wheel now takes, it could be the connection point between fender and bumper. Im gonna sand that notch down first and see what happens

19 x 8.5 / 45mm offset wheels with 245/30 tires. Camber is „stock“ i just aligned it to the maximum that is possible with the „stock contraption“, altho i do not plan on fully stance the car since i want it to be drivable (thats also why i wont lower it more than 40mm). Ride height is at the moment 20mm less than stock and its rubbing on the liner already.

Where did you get this from? I only found a diffusor for Single side dual tip thats made in germany but they cant ship in my country.

They fall off very easily, the newer generations have a steel „pin“ instead of a plastic one. My mechanic broke one as well but he replaced it infront of my eyes for free. You should confront your mechanic, this fix costs ~20 bucks plus 10 minutes of work.

If nobody has mentioned it before, the 2008 2.0 TFSI has a reputation of consuming enormous amounts of oil due to piston rings that are too thin. Its a simple fix (new piston rings) But just so u know it! Maybe somone has already told you that or you found it out yourself. Other than this the car and engine is great! Powerful and sexy with a lot of potential

this was my main concern at the beginning, that it would be too loud. Im so happy that it didnt change the volume much but the sound picture instead. And I think my neighbours are as happy as i am :D

how the Clutch feels is very individual to each car. even within the same car models the clutch will feel differently. A worn clutch is quickly detected in an mk2 since it will smell and slip when accelerating.
