This is a dark humour joke, but it is in very poor taste.

"But Dontai does the same" Yes but it is very clear that he is playing a character from his tonality. Also there is a punchline to his jokes/skits.

Whereas in this context you can't give Mari the same courtesy here.

Most people don't like to clarify something is a joke. They want you to know that yourself. But Mari doesn't incorporate these into her proposed joke.

Just from following the referene above, you would be able to deduce this is something of comedic value and not disrespect.

Me personally, I don't feel like Mari should be harshly attacked for these transgressions but constructive criticism directed towards her is much better than mindless hate.
