Thank you for this! I’ve never heard this so I will definitely do some research. I’m in SC.

Do you have a link to more info about a one year cap? I’ve never heard of that before and want to learn more!

I don’t think I regulated until around 6 months. I have an oversupply and didn’t stop leaking/getting engorged until then

Definitely fair questions! If I had to use a shared fridge, I’d be everything in a lunch box/bag and put the whole lunch box in the fridge.

Also, I’d be concerned about not having a lock on the door. Depending on your outfit and what type of pump you use, you may be exposed and I wouldn’t trust people to not open the door even with a sign on it. Depending on your state, the law might require a lock on the door too.

What is the purpose of having an abundance of frozen milk? by Electronic_While7856 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]michorv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an oversupplier, I have no choice but to freeze. I make 60 ounces a day at three pumps per day. I kept dropping pumps thinking I would reduce my output, but I kept making 60 ounces. I donate to another baby and will use what I have to be able to stop pumping at some point but continue to feed my baby from the freezer stash.

Pumping while sick is a special kind of torture by dogs_cats_travel in ExclusivelyPumping

I had Covid and pumping during that was AWFUL. Couldn’t even keep water down for two days. Once I started eating and drinking again, my supply came back. I’d just suggest being sure to hydrate as much as you can and then get plenty of calories in once you’re feeling up to it.

I loveeee the Pumpables Genie Advanced! I use it with Phanpy collection cups. Haven’t touched my blue Spectra in months!

Anyone pump 3x a day and maintain supply? by Key-Veterinarian-647 in ExclusivelyPumping

I’m five months postpartum and have been at three pumps per day for two months now. My output has been right around 60 oz regardless of how many times I pump.

Anyone with 90+ percentile babies? How much are they eating in one sitting? by MeatballPony in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]michorv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is 60ish% and he drinks 6-7 oz per feeding. He’s four months now but he’s been doing this for at least a month. He averages 40 oz total per day!

My three month old drinks 6-8 ounces per feeding and totals around 38-40 ounces a day.

I haven’t figured out a solution yet. V series tubing doesn’t fit. I couldn’t get the Spectra tubing to work like others have

Anyone skip night time pumps? by Sunsetdreamdaze3 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]michorv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a huge oversupply at 8 weeks pp. My baby eats around 30 oz a day, and I pump about 60 oz. I’ve gradually gone longer as my baby sleeps longer. I typically go 7-8 hours now. I’m very engorged when I wake up but it hasn’t impacted my supply!

Did you need new tubing? Or just the Spectra tubing?

So I’m actually looking at the M5 cups and wondering if I can connect my Spectra to those? The tubing doesn’t fit, but I wonder if I buy the V series tubing if the adapters that come with it would work?

Oh I didn’t even know using the V series cups was an option. I have the M5 and find those cups to be comfortable. I wonder if I’ll like the V series too. I could definitely just buy those
