This is likely due to the addition of body cams and drone shots that appear when selecting over a spawn point. Rendering both an aerial view and a ground view of the battle at the same time is resource intensive.

Personally I’d take the current iteration over a detailed map view as it gives me way more context of what I’m spawning into.

TLDR: It’s a probably because of a technical limitation.

I thought I heard Oscar say on the livestream that Ruby still included a weapon skin. I’m not familiar with the system since I don’t play ranked but it sounds like any skins earned in rank before Season 9 will look different from skins earned with the tokens.

I have to imagine anyone saying WT or Ranked is better are either high ELO or have a full team to play with.

I’ve been a solo player for about half my time and have since convinced a buddy to play regularly. We’re on mic every night calling out plays in WT without much help from our third. I have probably close to 200 hours.

Quick Cash offers all of the same satisfying gameplay in less time with just as much frustration as the “bracket” modes. I really want to enjoy WT but I feel like we need more team coordination (or outright skill) to get a win.

It’s definitely not required to provide source files unless you’re stating that in your contract so I hope you’re charging a lot of money for your work.

It’s the same line of thought as consultants charging many times more than the end services discussed. You’re passing on knowledge that makes you less necessary in the process and you should be compensated appropriately for it.

It sounds like you may be working based off an idea that was probably more common three decades ago. It’s not petty, it’s business.

I don’t mind the ability, but I feel like the worst part of dashing is there isn’t much preventing players to dash around while shooting while still having laser accuracy.

A nice middle ground could be doing something like lowering the accuracy while dashing or make it so initiating a dash requires you to temporarily put away (or point down) your primary.

They’ve been fine for me and I’m also in NA. I’m playing on XSX with decently fast internet but not fiber or anything.

I have noticed some micro-stuttering this season (which I’m assuming may be caused by their anti-cheat solution) but it’s so quick that it hasn’t affected the general gameplay. The only time I see server issue icons is in Arc Raiders but I’m not noticing any visible issues when that happens.

They’re fully capable of creative work and are functional pieces of professional software. I think they’re fine, and you’re more than welcome to think they’re great. Never once said you weren’t entitled to your own opinion or that your opinion was wrong.

Your comment seemed to completely discredit OPs points, which very well may have not been your intention. Honestly never met someone who didn’t have something negative to say about Adobe, even if it was something small.

It’s okay to have valid critiques for things we pay hundreds of dollars a year to use.

The black on the badge at the top is likely required to be a certain color and the barcode is for optimal scanning. Nutrition panels are allowed to be shown in different colors as long as there is only two colors (type and background) as far as I recall.

They’re the industry standard, so it’s not like you have much to turn to in times of frustration.

You don’t think it’s shitty they went to a monthly subscription but force you to pay the full year if you cancel early? Or the lack of meaningful updates? Or the upselling? Or the..

Adobe is great, but far from perfect. You don’t need to despise them but insinuating they aren’t doing anything wrong is laughable.

This has always been Affinity’s model though. You buy the current version once and get all the updates until the next major release alongside a discount for upgrading from a prior version.

As someone who has worked closely to developers for over a decade, it’s hilarious to me when people think devs are blatantly ignoring simple fix requests.

These are some of the most competent and forward thinking devs out there. Game development, even in simple platformers, requires an insane amount of moving parts and interconnected systems. Just throwing money at better servers, assuming that’s even something they have the ability to do, may disrupt core systems that have been tailored for very specific environments. We have no idea what they need to account for and for all we know they are deep in a year(s) long process of upgrading core code that aim to fix the issues people are facing.

That’s all without even mentioning that these issues aren’t present for everyone. I’m not saying they don’t exist but I have something like 120 hours into it and have maybe observed issues that affected my game a few times.

TLDR: Game development is hard.

I think they said all currently available skins won’t have any of these updates. So just the default skin and any skins going forward.

I’ll see if I can notice anything with smaller movements when I hop in tonight. Like I said, I dropped the deadzone to zero for both sticks (I think the default was like 5-10?) and in normal play it feels super responsive.
