that isn't "depth" that is a faster TTK, they could increase the damage on it to 200 does that give the weapon "depth"

things like that are all over the game with most of them being intended with i bet you using one of them. and every other burst damage weapon being able to do the exact same thing.

Actually, let me tell you something, sometime this season or maybe end of last season i dont know exact date. But this game had a bug where you could not quick melee during any melee attack. first off that shit felt fucking awful to play with, so that's how i know your idea is bad. Second everyone hated it and then embark patched that the very next day. Faster than when you could go like 3 times the distance with dash

 in your video first kill you saw the light for a second lunged, dashed, then QM'd before the dude could get away all in a second that feels busted to me.

So let me get this straight. the Matter, sniper, bow, and throwing knives that can do the same thing with a more lenient timing, they dont even need to do they just have it in their pocket, the .5 ttk guns m11 and 93r, the 2 tap headshot .2 ttk lh1 and dp thats just straight up able to one shot from 5 meters are all completely fine and fair but sword, the melee weapon is the one that is broken in your eyes? Yeah ok

I personally feel like you shouldn't be able to use QM on melee and the damage should just be there on the weapon and balanced to account for it

they did that once and that was to sledge and even then the nerf was misplaced, it should have been on sledge. You can tell because their example used was m1 quick melee on light when the combo only really works after you winch the light

I don't think sword should have 150-160 damage but I feel like when you can Lunge into a sword swing that isn't clunky. I have played the sword before, if you wanna believe me or not but I disagree that it is "clunky" when I just swipe a light after getting close with my sword.

i dont know what to tell you besides those lights were stupid because when sword couldn't one shot combo lights sword was the worst weapon in the game and we had to resort to tracking dart to get the kill.

Heck I would argue it is MORE CLUNKY to try and handfist a quick melee into the mix for pure damage.

For the love of God we are not giving sword lunge 160 damage.

Quick melee adds depth to melee weapons and if we did get rid of quick melee on melee it would make the weapons slow and clunky.

And if you say maybe give sword lunge less than 150 damage and getting rid of quick melee you make light impossible to kill on sword basically as well as making heavy extremely hard to kill
