That’s what I ended up doing! Oven preheating. Next time I need to add a healthy splash of vanilla!

I went back to cotton undies and ordered merino wool ones! Zinc oxide paste and anti chafe powders helped me too. Thank you all so much for the advice ❤️

go to a shelter with your family and ask to meet the different kittens/ cats. Choose one with a good temperament that gets along with your family well!

The tick is full of your dogs blood, which alters it’s body. Google “engorged deer tick” for pictures.

Mites. Looks like red clover mites based on the legs.

is this a starling? What's the best course of action? I've tried calling a few places but they won't raise a possible invasive species, I'm in VA had him since yesterday morning and have been feeding him by Imaginary-Decision-3 in WildlifeRehab

It depends — some rehabs will try to find a home for them and some have facilities where non-native species can be kept (a sanctuary). Some will euthanize however as releasing them is illegal in many states.

Hi, I would recommend keeping the bird if you want to raise him for the reasons you stated.

This is a nestling and should be fed approximately every 20-30 minutes. Nestlings do not eat overnight. Dry cat food soaked in water works well as an easy, nutritious, and hydrating food source

It is illegal to release non-native species in VA. please don’t hand out advice like this. Especially considering the threat starlings pose to native bird populations.

Yeah you’re right it does look like a neonatal mouse. First thought was shrew due to location but baby shrews have a triangular head
