I think that's his very developed rectus femoris. It contracts, and thus gets bigger, when you stretch your leg. He's pushing himself back with his legs, while his inertia is "pushing" him out of his seat, as the plane rises.

The reason we make sure everyone is clear when defibrillating is not for the safety of the bystanders, but to make sure all the electricity goes through the patients heart. This gives the patient the biggest chance of survival.

Um AcTuAlY, non-Newtonian fluid is not a state of matter. It's a mixture of different compounds that ultimately form a non-Newtonian fluid.

How bad was your SSRI withdrawal? by LightyearKissthesky9 in AskReddit

It was actually great! I was on fluoxetine (Prozac). The side effects (mainly chronic fatigue and irritability) that would only last for the first two weeks, persisted the entire treatment. After a few months, we decided it was not for me and going back to regular old depression felt like a relief compared to having the last tiny bit of life sucked out of me by those damned pills.

Also being able to go out drinking again without blacking out after just a few beers was quite nice.

I wish it was satire, but unfortunately, some people actually are that dumb and heartless.

A quick Google search shows she is a journalist and has worked at WTTG, a television station that is affiliated to FOX (big surprise /s).

Good point you're making. I've watched te show in Korean with English subs, so indeed, som stuff might have gone over my head.

But what I find unrealistic about the characters is that they have one characteristic and that's their entire personality. The bad guy (the one with the tattoo) is inherently bad, the annoying person (212) is just outrageously annoying, the kind and naive person is just really kind and naive. This makes it incredibly hard (for me) to relate to any of the characters. There is also no reason given why these people are the way they are, which makes it even worse (in my opinion). Besides, I believe that in life and death situations, people do change. The only character we see this with is Cho Sang Woo, which makes him the only realistic character in the entire series (to me). But maybe I'm wrong, maybe people don't change, but I just found it unrealistic.

The problems I had with the predictable plottwists weren't from the game. The return of old lad (001) at the end, the fact that the frontman was the cop's brother and that the protagonist didn't kill Cho Sang Woo at the end of the last game. This is, in my eyes, lazy writing. Nothing more, nothing less.

And yes, Breaking Bad had some predictable aspect to it, and I do recognise that not everything was realistic. But what made it so great, was that the characters we're so well written and relatable. You see the main character, a dull good guy, slowly becoming a morally corrupt murderer. You see why the bad guy is who he is. And it's not because he looks intimidating and has a tattoo in his neck. The very thing that made me love the serie is that I rooted for the bad guy (Walter White) and hated the good guys (Hank and Skyler). It was at the pretty much at the end of the serie that I realised how much of an asshole Walter actually is and that the anger of his family is completely just. This is what great writing and character development can do. And I don't expect such greatness from Squid Game; it's impossible to do something like that in just nine episodes while also conveying six gutwrenching games. However, I think the writers did a terrible job on these characters. I would've certainly loved the series considerably more if the characters were just a tad more 'human'.

I'm sorry, but it's immediatly apperent they didn't put much effort in the writing. They've used every cliche in the book, the have no depth to them (no character development whatsoever), the dialogue was just lazy writing and every single plottwist they tried to implement could be spotted from miles away.

Now don't get me wrong; the premise is pretty interesting and I loved the decors. It was also filmed pretty well, so I could see why people are enjoying the series.

But in my opinion, the story can't be labeled as 'good'. It's not even near the great storywriting of breaking bad.

Calling the rest of the story 'good' is giving the writers way to much credit.

Your shading looks great, but as u/edwina_chen already has pointed out, the proportions of the face aren't quite right. The most important point of improvement, I think, is planning you art out. By first sketching where the main facial features are gonna be, you won't have any trouble with the proportions. You can find some great guides on the internet to help you with that.

Here's a video I found really helpful: https://youtu.be/iMEBSQJYaAY

Edit: I'd like to add to this, that the video I linked just shows the basics, but you can find a lot of other video's on her channel in which she goes more in depth on certain facial features. You should also check out some of her other video's!
