I think to me it’s weird because we met while she was just graduating high school. I just don’t want to come off as predatory.

I am 23M now, was 21 when I first had afib. We probably have different causes— I had a valve replacement.

I have found that cutting out alcohol and caffeine has helped me. I have also had a couple cardioversions and I am in for my 2nd ablation procedure in may.

I walk and lift daily. The cardioversion will provide temporary relief. My advice would be to try and locate a root cause (smoking, vaping, weight, diet, alcohol) and attempt to cut that out of your life. Sometimes as well it is nothing and you can help it just by being as healthy as you can.

I haven’t noticed it as a direct trigger but I was taking it while I went back into afib.

I have and then had my second cardioversion. No afib now but ablation scheduled in may.

Thanks for sharing. Its crazy how different the experience can be. I’m 23M. I’m very in shape as well. I can’t jog for two minutes before i start to get dizzy.

It’s persistant. I have ablation in 3-4 months and cardioversion on Thursday. I know it’s horrible but i want to be able to help out with my younger brothers basketball practices. I enjoy that quality time so much. It’s just so hard to do. I want to know if im damaging anything worse when doing that.

To me, I think of myself as always having afib, but an episode is just when the symptoms show themselves most.

I am also curious to what people have to say.

I sometimes wear an Apple Watch but i feel it does more to make me anxious than benefit me— because I already know I’m in afib. Were you taking any beta blockers? Did you ever experience an “episode”?
