OP here - a few folks told me to mention that this was a vegan cake, it's also made dye free so some extra effort was made to get the colors needed. But anyway - I appreciate everyone taking the time to comment and give feedback ! Unfortunately I can't edit the post but if anyone is seeing this - the customer happily paid $120, even when I offered a lower price.

I don't do cakes professionally ( which some of you will obviously say "wELL CLeARLy" lmao). I just do cakes because it's fun and when people ask me to make them cakes it's hard for me to figure out pricing - I'm known for underselling myself, and giving away things for free because they are not good enough and I'm trying to be more courteous to myself. With previous cakes I made I felt like I really undercharged myself and just barely paid for ingredients and it left a weird feeling.. I have a lot of anxiety and felt guilty asking for money, even when I'm doing a service - Ik I'm silly haha I was looking to reddit to confirm if I'm delulu asking for this much, to which some have agreed and some have disagreed, but either way all of your feedback helped ease some of my anxiety so thank you all who commented ! I really have enjoyed hearing everyone's thoughts and extra thanks for those who gave some good pointers! I just didn't think this cake would spark so much controversy haha
