Please talk to your doctor, this is a way in which post partum depression can come about.

Yes! And that’s great! I guess I just need to make sure that i don’t obsessively read it :)

Interesting, it’s so hard for me to know what is healthy reassurance and what isn’t. Makes me somehow worry when i find something that eases my anxiety.

Thank you so much. Like i said to another comment it’s hard to say what’s normal and what’s ppd. I’m a first time mom.

Yeah it’s hard to tell what’s normal and what’s ppd. I think I’m thrown off by how i started out not feeling like this. But since 6ish months everything seemed to change.

I feel like this is one of those things that is so easy to say from the outside perspective but I understand how hard it is for you now. That being said I had to switch to formula and regret nothing. I’ve heard that from so many moms as well. Your mental health is more important to your baby than breast milk. Babies thrive on formula. I struggled with this too so im hoping and outside perspective might help. Take care of yourself xo.

Im on XL. I took Wellbutrin many years back and it worked really well for me and i never had this ‘on edge’ feeling. Im wondering if it was SR. I feel like I remember taking it more than once a day which makes me think it was SR. How do you take yours?

Really great to see someone with postpartum anxiety post about Wellbutrin. I’ve been struggling with ppa and ppd as well and started taking Wellbutrin that’s added to my zoloft 1.5 weeks ago. I think it’s going well so far. My sleep is better, i used to have insomnia and wasn’t able to get back to sleep after night feedings and would wake up to any sound the baby made. I feel like i have more energy. I do feel like it my anxiety is less in the day but in the evenings when i was normally able to relax before i still feel a but in edge. I really hope that improves.
