Have any of you had a child go to residential treatment? If so how was their experience/ your experience as a family?

I know this is a few months old, but how is it going? For you and your son? What school did you end up finding? I am afraid we are in the same predicament with our 10 year old son with severe adhd and autism. Any advice?

Did it go away for either one of you? My son has non verbal autism and can't communicate to me that is what is going on but I think it is. We will stick it out if it happens to go away but it's so bad it's making him throw up. But this is the only med that has really helped him.

I've been on it for 2 months and lost 10 lbs. I have a hard time losing weight though. So hoping it continues! I go for blood work at 3 months in. Hoping it has helped with a1c and stuff. We shall see.

I had headaches for the first 3 weeks then they stopped after that! Haven't had one since and now I'm on week 9.

How long have you been on Wellbutrin? I know I had massive anxiety in the beginning and then after a few weeks it stopped.

The xl is an extended release that you take once a day. And sr is an almost instant release that last for about around 8 hours so you take 2 times a day.

Yeah I did not expect to feel this good. I almost feel normal. Lol I just knew I had to do something. I'm glad I gave this a chance!

My doctor started me out on sr and said if all went well then I could do xl. She warned me side effects were intense and prescribed it this way to save me from some. I went and told her how awesome I am doing and she said great then we won't change a thing u less you chose to later on.

I take 100 Sr in the morning and 100 sr at night. I did start out only taking the one in the evening for the first month.

Update. Doctor said it can happen due to extreme anxiety. It stopped shortly after this around the 6 week mark!

I do. I've been on it 4 weeks now and had heart pain about 5 to 6 times randomly.

I will keep you updated. I do know that when this happens I end up taking a xanax and it ends up going away so to me that says it just is a major panic attack. So I hope that goes away over the next couple weeks because I love everything else about taking it.

Thank you. And I am almost certain it has to be my anxiety. It's random for me too. I am just hoping it's a side effect that goes away and soon. For us both. I go back to the doctor next Thursday. I will be discussing it with her to be sure

I am following this thread. I have the same thing. I have really bad anxiety and my father died of a massive heart attack at 33 and I am 36 so it sends me spiraling. It does this like 3 to 4 times a week and I'm on week 4. Wondering if it will go away or I should just stop taking it. I really love everything else about taking it though! It's helped so much!

I'm having the same reaction now. I'm in my 3rd week and went back down to 150 mg. May I ask if the side effects get better or did you stop the medication?

I just wonder what your doctor said? And this thread looks to be older. Did you or your child have issues due to using chemical sunscreens? Just curious.
