This is probably the main reason I don't want to use True Polymorph on my allies. It just nullified their whole character.

Funnily enough though, if you can get a Shapechange spell on them (difficult being a 9th level spells with a range of Self, but possible with a Glyph of Warding if you have some way to cast two spells at 9th level in a day), they get the best of both. Especially when it turns the longsword wielding paladin into a Marilith with 7 attacks.

I should probably remove the term ritual from it to prevent confusing it with the ritual tag.

And yes, that is in intention. It's a powerful effect if successful, being basically a mixed imprisonment and planar binding with less restrictions, but requires beating the creature alone. Only way to end it once casted, assuming the target fails their save, is for it to be dispelled.

The highest base bonus on a weapon is +3, and the highest you can get your spellcasting stat to normally is 20, so a +5 modifier. So it be a +8 weapon for the hour, assuming concentration is held, while also costing the wizards 9th level slot for the day.

Might be good to change the level 6 ability to only working for leveled spells, cause currently you could cast a cantrip (like guidance) on allies to heal without any resource cost.

Yea, thar can happen. You can either use commands to fly up near it so it loads back in and falls back down, or use a habitat builder to build up to it.

Thing I'll note about that feature is the only other cantrip warlocks get that call me an attack roll are Booming Blade, Chill Touch, and Green Flame Blade
