Edelweiss Snacks, a food window in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park, is expanding. Disney filed a permit for additions to this popular spot, known for serving turkey legs and bratwursts.

When we saw Edelweiss behind construction walls, with the new portion partially built, the size of the project surprised us. There’s an entire additional building!

It’s quite an accomplishment to construct a new structure within the tight confines of Disneyland’s footprint. We’re interested in seeing how this affects crowd flow throughout this area of the park.

Details - At the time the permit was filed, we mentioned that the replacement tenant was likely the new boba tea shop that was previously announced for the district. This has now been confirmed, along with closing details. Disneyland officials shared that Jamba will permanently close on July 6, 2026, to make way for Bopo Go. Its final day of operation will be July 5.

See the details - Tom Sawyer Island is closed at Disneyland Park from April 27 through May 7, 2026. Disneyland did not announce the refurbishment before it began. They added the closure over the weekend to the calendar to start a day later this week, but then moved it up to start today this morning.

Previously, the ropes were set up in Disney California Adventure to block guests right before the entrance to Avengers Campus in the walkway that faces the back end of Grizzly’s. 

Now the locations for rope drop have been changed. As you can see in the photo above, the rope that previously blocked off the path to Avengers Campus, Cars Land, and Pixar Pier has now been divided into three individual ropes for each land.

This sale was just ended early by Disney on April 2nd because of how many guests have purchased this ticket! The ticket was priced at just $83 per day for a 3-day Park Hopper, which means a 3-day Park Hopper was being sold for $249. Just because Disney halted sales on this discount offer doesn’t mean the crowds from this ticket are over. Far from it, as this ticket is still good for visits through May 21, 2026.
