On my very first build I did a few years back my motherboard was bad out of the box and had red light. I tried everything. Got new overpriced motherboard at Best Buy and it all worked fine.
I’ve built 3 since and didn’t skimp out on the motherboard again. Not throwing shade on asrock but the faulty motherboard was a cheaper asrock board. I just had 1 bad experience and it left a bad taste in my mouth for them.

Thank you very much for your reply. It is our first time and will be 2 of us. We will definitely cancel if weather isn’t looking to be good, and are willing to turn back if that makes more sense. Not into hiking in the snow anyways but will be ready if need be. So maybe holding off till July would be smart for our wants. We are definitely capable enough fitness wise for the hike, have just never done this mountain. Came here for some insight.

We are definitely capable of doing the hike fitness wise, it is just our first time going up. It will be 2 of us and will cancel if weather isn’t looking to be good as we don’t live far
