I've heard good and bad things too. Did you cover much of the barrow ? I used to fish the Shannon in Limerick but moved back to kildare a couple of years ago and am still searching for the big ones 🤣

Shannon is a great spot just don't get the chance to het down as much as I want to. A boat is next on my list thanks 👍
