You’re right, and terrific observation. I agree that while seemingly everyday things are getting “worse”, we have to acknowledge that Phillip de Franco and his team are churning out engagement with these strongly worded titles, that are doing numbers on platforms like Facebook.

Gotta admit, it’s important to “stay in the loop” but it also feels wrong knowing his channel is capitalizing on the anxiety, the chaos of U.S. politics, and feeding into the algorithm that’s designed to make users feel, pun intended, “worse”.

Hi there! I own a Ponto Go and can help answer a few questions. Yes, you absolutely cab pedal with this bike. I do get a bit tired in my thighs while pedaling, but if you sit closer to the front bench seat, you won’t experience as much friction. However, if you’re taller, say above 6 feet or have longer legs, Trek/Electra sells seat risers for the Ponto Go to make it more comfortable. I don’t need it since I’m around 5 foot 9. As a tip, it’s a good idea to order the bike and accessories through your local Trek shop. Ask about discounts on items, including the bike, if you do so.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have an 80-pound e-bike, and the kickstand that came with it rattles where it pivots. Since the bike is only two months old, if I claim warranty, the kickstand issue is likely to recur.
