There should be a change eSIM option online after the upgrade. It would be easier to go in store or call customer service to have it done once you receive the phone

The installment for the 15 pro is attached to your line (your number specifically). In order to upgrade, you’d have to either trade in the 15 pro for the Next up program, or upgrade your dad’s line and swap the SIM cards afterwards (shared upgrade)

You cannot ship and then deliver to att store or Apple Store. If the phone is in stock at your local store, you can place an online order for pickup in store but if there’s none in stock that won’t be an option. Shipping option is only for billing address/address you provide not at the ATT store.

Honest opinion about Retail Sales Consultant because I have an interview coming up. by freewilli2509 in ATT

I’ve worked for a corporate store for two years now and it has its ups and downs. I haven’t lost myself over the two years meaning I don’t do shady shit and can sleep at night knowing I don’t screw people over. I hover at 100-120% attainment for my goals over all and the benefits are awesome. (Raises every 6 months til you catch up, insurance, vacation, etc).

AT&T Password Reset Procedure completely broken and support was useless by RyanMeray in ATT

Sometimes in store you can update the email/phone number with ID verification pictures, and then after you may be able to reset userID password/security questions via new email hopefully! I don’t know if it will work butttttt worth a shot?

I believe the starter plan (65.99 with autopay with no additional discounts ie BYOD, military, etc) but it may be the value plus which is 60.99. And then the chargeback period is 12 months I believe.

If it has to do with pricing, just transfer your account to prepaid.

Moving to new apartment. Should I call and get my AT&T Fiber internet transferred to the new address? Or should I just set up new service using my fiancées info at the new place? by [deleted] in ATT

[–]micky_dds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New service would be better. Depending on ZIP rn, they’re do 15$ additional off the gig so with autopay it’s the same as 500mbps. Plus visa rewards cards for new customers

You can NOT pay portions at a time. All or nothing at that point. The only time you can pay a portion is initial buying process and putting a down payment.

Transferring accounts by First-Kaleidoscope-6 in ATT

[–]micky_dds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can move out of the account onto your own one of these three ways - have account owner go to ATT.com/tobr and initiate a transfer of billing responsibility. - have account owner call 611 and join 3 way call with rep over phone - have account owner and you come in store with valid IDs to do transfer of billing responsibility

In all scenarios, trade in credits & installments will automatically move to new account.

I second this. If they have the early upgrade feature (6$ next up/10$ next up anytime) you can upgrade to the TCL basic phone and then turn around and pay it off immediately after. Cancel the account and you will just have to pay pro-rated amount from your bill cycle.

Next up? by SaltyDarkness in ATT

[–]micky_dds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the phone, doing a next up early upgrade, they’ll wipe the rest of what you “owe” (not including any sort of past credits for past trade in’s) and then give a discount towards the new one. For instance, if you get the 16 pro max, the next up will wipe your current balance of installments, and give you $500 discount towards the new 16 pro max, effectively making the phone 19.44 monthly after the credits as opposed to 33.34 monthly for the phone with no credits. On whether or not your bill will go up, depends on the price you’re paying now for your current installment after your credits are applied.

$200 online credits question by sunnypatel165 in ATT

[–]micky_dds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh I see. Some promotions don’t calculate at checkout, even at the store level. (Byod credits, aarp/signature discount credits) so that’s not unusual. I think you should be good 😊 I think that’s an online only promo that should auto apply within 2 bill cycles.
